Two separate key (to me) points: - they take Zelle (no 3% add on and no fiddling with checks) - they were going to be late and texted, provided an ETA, and texted when they were on their way. That alone gets very high marks from me. I pay them right away and they get their money in a timely fashion. Finally, I got a note from saying Ezekiel had been in the area and cleaned my backflow filter (picture - no charge). Texted back that i had the old style backflow. So I discounted their bad reviews and decided to give Affordable Sprinkler Services a call. I had no pressure in Zone #2 of my lawn sprinkler system. I called Affordable Sprinkler Services yesterday and expected to get Mark, the Owner, who is mentioned in a number of the reviews. A fellow named Nate answered and said he could come right out. Nate is prompt, very knowledgeable and tracked the problem right down to a bad solenoid in the valve box. He had the correct parts on the truck and replaced the bad valve on the spot. Nate also checked the sprinkler heads and found one that did not have a filter in it and he installed one. Quality service at a fair price. I know 0 about yards and sprinklers. I had several companies to come out and give me estimates on fixing my system. That was a joke, I had one guy from a highly rated company tell me I needed to put in a 15k sprinkler system. It's a small yard!! Not a PGA golf course! American irrigation came out right away. The tech found my problem immediately, fixed it, and the total was $300.00. He said you in no way need a new system. What a huge relief. Now, my sprinkler needs some more help, and I couldn't find their name. I went through 2 years worth of bank statements looking for the check I wrote to them. Finally, I found it about an hour ago. They're scheduled to come out soon as they can which might be a week or 10 days. You know what? I'll wait a month if I have to. No one else is touching my sprinkler system. Thank you for your excellent, trustworthy service and company. I've been grossly taken advantage of by sprinkler companies like you have no idea.
