Once every dilated it was a short wait till we got into the actual doctor's office. We were seeing their regular doctor which is nice because he is very familiar with their eyes as they've been caring for them for quite a few years now. The examination went very well and after discussion with the doctor we have a clear path moving forward once again. If you have a retina problem and need care I definitely recommend this company. After being unable to find the office (building was under construction), I called the central line and was finally directed to the location on Wellness Way. (I've submitted a request to Yelp HQ to correct the address). Luckily, I had planned on being 30 minutes early so even with the commotion, I didn't miss my appointment. Check-in was easy and I had the typical paperwork to complete. I didn't complete it online beforehand. Insurance had not yet been processed so I completed the visit without knowing if I'll have a bill or if I've met my deductible for the year. The young lady at the front desk was able to give me an estimate on billing so at least I'll know when I can follow up because my insurance company can be slow at times. Overall, the experience was smooth. I was with two technicians before meeting Dr. Kumar. The first was really easy going, professional and made me laugh, this helped to ease my nerves, especially after she told me that she needed to touch my eyeballs with an instrument! The eyes are numbed with drops so, in the end, her measuring my eye pressure was no big deal. The next technician took the photos of my eyes; she was friendly and professional. Finally, I met with Dr. Kumar. He completed a thorough examination of my eyes, focusing on the reason that my Optometrist made the referral. He was great and his calm demeanor made it a comfortable experience. When he was finished, he explained his findings and answered the few questions that I had. At checkout, I was able to get copies of my record and make a follow-up appointment for next year. Other than that, the office is easy to find, once you have the correct address! The office is bright, with simple decor and has reasonably comfortable waiting areas. The second one is dimly lit, which is great once for once your pupils are dilated. I had my cataracts surgery in both eyes and I will say it has been the best investment I have done overall.
