I made appointments for me and my bridesmaids, but I never had a "dry run". I could not have been happier with my experience at Capelli Hair Salon. Two of us were immediately seated upon entering. The women listened to what we wanted, looked at photos, and then replicated it the best they could. Our hair was done in a short amount of time and then the two women helping us proceeded to give the remaining two girls beautiful hair styles. My friend also convinced me to get my makeup done for the wedding. As a disclaimer, I hate makeup and it hates me. I always feel like a dirty cat when wearing makeup and it just seems to weigh down my face. The woman who helped me with my makeup listened to what I wanted and definitely did not overdo the makeup but still covered all those bags under the eyes. I would highly recommend Capelli Hair Salon. We talked about my color and cut and Lauren was right on par with exactly what I wanted. She was very nice, welcoming and open to what I wanted. I started with unevenly colored hair, long root growth and old faded dye on the other bottom half. I was looking to be rid of the faded reddish color and start going lighter so that eventually I can have a much lighter brown. The color came out nice! It's a nice lighter brown and looks a lot more even. The haircut was just what I wanted, shorter and a little layering with texture. She gave me options of styling it and parting it differently. I called up and the receptionist was super friendly and they were actually able to take me that day. So, I arrived that afternoon and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff at the salon. I was taken back to the chair within a minute or two of arriving and that is when I met my stylist Carrie Lynn! She had taken one look at my hair and seemed as if she had a plan in mind immediately! I listened to her idea and it was fabulous so I decided to put my trust in her. Meanwhile, we had the most delightful conversation about kids, hair, hair products, etc, ya know, everything girls like to talk about!!!
