There are so many variations of each colour, ranging from cool to warm, and most have an undertone...if you are like me, you'll appreciate the input. The only reason I deducted one star, is that I find their paint doesn't stand up to wear as well as Benjamin Moore, especially in kids spaces. I went to the Benjamin Store on Langstaff (near Weston Rd) and the same can was $11....and at the Benjamin Moore store on Bathurst near Major Mac they were $8.99. Huge savings here. Access Ito the lot when driving east on Steeles is odd (as its a curved entrance for those people travelling west), but further down there's another entrance. The staff members I've interacted with have been stellar...from the consultant who works in the paint section to the staff at the counters...all have customer skills down pat. This is now my preferred location to purchase paint.

When u are a first time costumer they will set up an account with you so if you should ever need to buy some more paint in the same color you bought 2 years ago they can just pull it up for you and your done. And of course the main reason why we go buy our paint here is because of ther Harmony Line, it's water-based paint and low-odor with zero VOCs!!! Perfect for kids rooms or nurseries. Even during painting you barely smell any odor....I am using this paint for my entire House now. They also constantly have sales, last time I just bough myself an entire case of white and whenever I am ready to paint a room I go mix in the color.

This RONA is absolutely horrific. I went in there to look for a specific caulking tool, they didn't…read morehave it- so I left. Because it is in the same plaza area as Yonge Sheppard Animal Hospital, I went to pick up my cat food and get my other cat's ashes that died a traumatic death. Their security guard starts berating me, threatening me that I am going to get a ticket and I told him I just came out of the RONA. Didn't matter to him, I also told him that my cat just died and this is a very stressful situation for me. He then continued to bully me for being upset. Thankfully the staff at Y&S animal hospital helped mediate the situation, but this is truly disappointing behaviour from RONA's management. I am no longer going to buy anything from this store, as I can't support this kind of behaviour. Businesses should be kind to each other and it's clear RONA is just a big bully.

Bought some wrong size small metal screws at Rona Mississauga store and took them to North York…read morestore for return, which is closer to where I live. They refused to accept the return telling me they don't sell metal screws (unbelievable for a hardware store !) and told me to go back to Mississauga store and another store that sells metal screws. Frustrated so I said next time I will buy small hardwares at Home Depot to avoid this kind of headache and this young smart alec employee at Rona said "tell them I say hello" ! What an attitude !!!
