I have been fortunate to have massages in Thailand, China, New Mexico and New York. As one who goes to My. Snow this is a must stop post ski place. The skill and care of Terye is extraordinary. Whether it is living the Vermont life or studying masters- she has got the magical touch. read more

Terye is wonderful to work with. I found her after having a bi-lateral knee replacement and was having difficulty with scar tissue impeding my progress. She really listened to me and worked with me in figuring out how best to address what was going on. Within two months of working with her my flexion on both legs improved by over 10 degrees. I was thrilled and so was my surgeon. I have continued to work with Terye to address other alignment issues with my legs caused by many years of misaligned knees. I am Board Certified with the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork & have been providing therapeutic massage in Brattleboro, VT since 2005. I offer pain management and stress reduction in a professional & relaxing environment. Chair massage can be brought to your place of business. Conveniently located near Brattleboro Memorial Hospital, less than 1/2 mile from I-91 exit 1. Evening & weekend appointments and free parking available. Credit cards accepted.

History

Established in 2005.

I graduated from Greenfield Community College's Stillpoint Program on the Dean's List in 2005. After graduating from the 2 year program, I opened Centered Healing Therapeutic Massage. Because VT does not require massage therapists to be licensed or certified, I chose to become Nationally Certified with National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork in 2006 and became Board Certified in 2014. I provided pre-adjustment massage therapy for Dr. Marcy Jones' patients in Brattleboro from 2005 until he retired in 2010. I am a member of and fully insured through the American Massage Therapy Association and have done volunteer work to help bring educational seminars to other massage therapists in New England.

Terye's massages eased muscle pain that 5 years with three physical therapists couldn't budge. I've had massages at the most renowned salons in Manhattan, visited spas in the farthest corners of the world, and nothing--I mean not a single one--came close to the level of relief and relaxation I attained at Centered Healing. Terye is a gifted masseuse who helped give my daughter relief from pain when no one else could. She is a delightful person and almost has ESP in terms of zeroing in on areas that need work.
