This review isn't for the store, it's for the Arc'teryx company. My family and I have been buying…read moreoutdoor clothing for decades and have found that the Arc'teryx brand isn't worth buying. Despite it's massive price tag, the clothing hasn't been any better than any other outdoor brand, and, in a few cases, has been awful quality. My husband bought a pair of hiking pants a few years ago and they have worn so thin in the thighs that there are holes, the stitching has failed in places and they have sun faded so badly you can't tell what the original colour was. I contacted the company for the warranty and was offered a $25.00 gift certificate. This is the second time I have contacted customer service about the poor quality on an expensive piece of clothing and the second time I have been blown off--this last time it was with an AI response full of random question marks. In a time where people's disposable income is down and companies are having to compete harder than ever for consumer dollars, customer service becomes the tie breaker. There are lots of high quality brands to choose from, don't waste your money on this one because if you have a problem, they won't stand behind their product.

Wow, I wasn't expecting this store to be so huge…read more Atmosphere is a great store for outdoor apparel gear (mostly apparel though). Since the store is so freakin' big, there's tons to choose from. Most of what they have to offer is by the likes of Columbia or The North Face. That being said, the prices might seem pretty high, but those brands are pricey to begin with, so I can't hold it against Atmosphere. Columbia and NF winter jackets and outerwear hover around the $200 range because they're really good quality. Either way, Atmosphere always has loads of stuff on sale.

At one point there were actually 6 sales associates standing at and around the two tills; Not one associate acknowledged us. I finally asked if any of them could assist us with our exchange on the second till to which one of them replied that we could go downstairs, but it would likely take longer. I assured him that it couldn't possibly take longer than this as there was 5 of them standing here and nothing was getting done. We went downstairs to the Sport Check till and were helped writhing 3 minutes.

Caged Clothing is a great concept. It is a store that sells MMA clothing. MMA is a growing sport…read moreand this store caters to that trend. The staff were very friendly when I went in. I found quite a few shirts that I really likes (I'm a huge MMA fan by the way). They had up advertisements for local fights and were very knowledgeable of their products. The only thing that concerns me is the location. It is somewhat hidden amongst the plethora of stores on Whyte Ave and it is not well-known enough to be a destination location. I would also like to see them carry some Xtreme Couture clothing along with the other brands they have in store. I realize that MMA is predominantly a male sport (both in participation and fans) but I would have liked to see some more selection in the women's section of the store - even though I did find some things I liked. I really hope Caged makes it and I think that all MMA fans should spread the word that Caged is here!
