I went to his office on the recommendation of a friend, and was quite leery upon arrival due to the state of the town and the office (this was the dirtiest bathroom I've experienced in a healthcare setting, and of course the Mom Valley isn't a beacon of economic vitality by any means). However, as soon as I met with the Doctor, I realized he was fully engaged in my issue and was intently hunting for a diagnosis. My appointment was late in the day and he had squeezed me in, but he treated me like I was family. I was there for about 2 hrs and started to get antsy after an hour and a few brief consultations. Finally, at about hour 1.5, Dr Rach parades in with all of my medical history and ultrasound records ready to troubleshoot!! Mind you, I had not provided the information for my previous ultrasounds or doctor visits because frankly, I don't know where I had been since I'm new to this area. He spent all that time to look up this information on my behalf, analyzed it, studied me, then evaluated it! Who does that anymore?! I didn't leave until 6:30 pm. This doctor spent a lot of time trying to help me - he even stayed late into the evening. I don't know anything about medical school or what makes one doctor better than another, but I do believe that a doctor who is committed to solving a patient's problem is a damn good doctor. I've never had a doctor be this intent and scientific and committed. I highly recommend this guy. He will take care of you.

I was finally assigned to Dr. Urrea and he is by far the WORST doctor I have ever been to. He was ignorant, unkind, unprofessional, and belittling. He could not have cared less about my opinion and what I was saying. He literally yelled at me me saying "he has been doing this for years and this is how he conducts business" even though he admitted his practices were outdated and too restrictive but he "wasn't at the point where he wanted to change anything." I'm appalled at the unprofessionalism and lack of sympathy from a psychiatric doctor that this man exuded. My needs were not meant and this was a COMPLETE waste of time and money. Today was the last day I will ever see this man again. I will be finding a new doctor who at the bare minimum has an attitude of common decency towards their patients.

Dr Urrea is by far the absolute worst psych doctor I've ever seen in my life and I've been in mental health treatment since I was 14 years old. He constantly was belittling me by calling me stubborn when it came to my meds. He kept telling saying, "Look at the way you're acting here, it's obvious you're not taking your meds. I should admit you to the psychiatric ward in the hospital." He refused to listen to any of my concerns about my medications let alone take them seriously. All he was doing was upping the dosage on my medications and telling me to take more meds. He was making accusations of me lying about my dosage when he was the one who personally changed the dosage on my meds. He was throwing in my face about how he's been practicing this type of medicine for 50+ years, he knows exactly what he's doing, he knows exactly how medications should effect someone, and things of that nature. His way of practicing medicine is extremely outdated, unprofessional, and extremely damaging to people like myself who have mental health issues. He was also extremely rude towards me when I was at one of the lowest points in my life. This man is extremely unprofessional in how he acted and conducted himself. I do not recommend this place if my life depended on it. This man needs to be re-evaluated on his people skills and especially his way of practicing medicine.
