I've now had three appointments with Dr. Herbst and I'm blown away by the amount of quality time,…read morepreparation and breadth of knowledge she has. My experience at Salt has already been a huge contrast to prior medical experiences. In the past I literally have been misdiagnosed by other doctors because they have tunnel vision/canned treatment plans. Dr. Herbst's approach is completely different. She has passion to understand your complete health background, she spends time in advance preparing for your appointment and then recommends a treatment plan that is holistic and ideally non medication (although she will use medication when necessary). I also appreciate that she doesn't order a bunch of tests that you don't actually need and doesn't push supplements if they're not necessary. NWA has such a gem of a practice (how often do you get someone from the Cleveland Clinic in this area?!). I'd encourage anyone who wants to invest in their health to go do a tour of the amazing facility and meet with Dr. Herbst. Bonus: the facility amenities (gym/spa/dietician/etc.) are amazing!
