WHAT EVERY MOMMY NEEDS! We were in San Diego on an extended visit and I found Bridges Connect! on…read moreGoogle because I was looking for a fun place to take our kids. This is a perfect place for Mommies with young children. Bridges Connect! offers fun, stimulating classes/activities for kids and great Zumba, Pilates and Yoga classes for adults! My 4 year old son loved the Kids Dance adventure class. He had so much fun and used so much energy that he actually took afternoon naps on the days he went to class (which he rarely does anymore)! While he had fun in class, I could sit in the beautifully decorated, comfortable Connect! lounge, read a magazine, check emails or just relax! My 18 month old son loved the Kids Connect! Club. He played in there happily with the wonderful, trained and caring staff while I took Zumba or Pilates. He actually cried when it was time to leave!! You don't have to have kids to come here. The adult fitness classes are great and reason enough to come! The space is gorgeous and so CLEAN! The staff is great! They offer activities for the whole family. The best part of coming here is that my kids are having fun, learning (through play and dance) and I even manage to get a little time for myself at the same time! I love it here! I wish we has Brides Connect! where I live!

I love the idea of this place and what it has to offer - something for everyone in the family!…read more Fitness classes for mom and children, too! Recreational activities like ping-pong and air hockey. Childcare in a beautiful setting. Classes like art and educational parenting workshops! So much to choose from!

Evidently, private sources have deadlines to apply both before, and after the exams are taken. If after reading this review you as a parent are interested in having a 30 day trial, call the office and ask for David Ramig, the supervisor, and see if there is a discount your child qulifies for. Since I've seen it's results so far, I know my niece will keep it, because she really loves how the lesson plans are challenging her in an "interactive way"..she has to reply to the practice questions, before it will move her on. She is really good on the computer because she was practically born with one in her hands, but they still gave her an orientation over the phone because she had to fill out a questionaire for their scholarship database. WOW..she found out she qulifies for $18,000 1st day she installed the software, and had an orientation, so far, from differeent sources. We thought we could just do research on the internet ourselves. BUT with all the info they need to do deatiled searches, there's no way we would have found some of these sources on our own, becuase I've never even heard of some of the comapnies that are offering grants. In order to qualify for a refund on the point guarentee, your child has to take an exam with the program 1st, use it again, and take an exam again. The 30 day trial is so you can take advantage of all the resources they offer and to see if you want to keep it until graduation. If you look into their "Ultimate Program" it's actually a better deal if you have more than one college-bound child, because it is a program that lives on the Internet, and they update their website to 'real-time" That means, each 'student' using it gets their own username and password, for one membership price. Each one of your kids has to take a diagnostic test with the software CD's first, so that the program can develop a customized lesson plan based on whatever subjects need the most improvement. Every time your child uses it, by logging in, it prints out a progress report that gets e-mailed to you, so that they cannot "fib" to you and tell you that they have already studied! If the lesson plans are not giving them enough improvement is certain subjects, they include live classes taught by professors with white board sessions on every subject on all version of SAT and ACT exams. By following these study plans and your child retakes the tests they guarantee a 300 point increase on the SAT and 5 points on the ACT each test to test. High scores on these tests could mean the difference in how many different grants and scholarship awards they potentially qualify for. They also provide grant research assistance, and help you understand how to apply for funding and help you with using the website all the way through your children's senor year. If your child uses the program for a year, they also guarantee a GPA point increase. They really do a great job of helping you understand that getting into a good college is a process, and a commitment, that takes focused steps. If you make the investment in this program, it will pay for itself over and over, especially if you take advantage of the continuing education, and scholarship recourse's. When it comes down to college applications, Deans of admissions seem to hoan in on 3 things 1. GPA 2. SAT/ACT scores 3. Community/Extra Cirrucular Activities...and UPC guantees improvemnt on 1 and 2...and helps find grants based on all 3

I was also a former student, and I'm telling you: please do not send your child here!…read more The students at this school are not treated as individuals with their own gifts and their own ability to contribute meaningfully to our world. They are instead stripped of their identity, belittled and forced to comply with the demands of the staff by sheer aggression and violence. And every other aspect of the student's lives is negatively affected by the school's agenda as well, oftentimes by unfair and restrictive legal documentation that follows them for the rest of their lives and is very difficult to annul. Their practices also often result in students not graduating on time, (if at all,) which can cause irrevocable damage to their professional standing. I was lucky to leave and I never looked back, but some of the damage they inflicted stays with me, and I may not rectify it for a long time yet.

If you would have told my younger self who gave up on the Catholic Church, all churches AND God…read morethat we'd become a member of a new church, I would have laughed and continue my self-destructive behaviors to prove that there is no God. Sounds dramatic right? But 100% true. Until something in my heart started to call out for something greater than myself. That call led me here to this church. There's so many things that I didn't like about religion, church and what was being fed to us. But, this place spoke to me. This IS a reconciling congregation and I love that. I love how the pastors are women from different ethnicities. I love how they unapologetically connect scripture to the world we live in today. I love how there's traditional service with choir and organ music but if you're uncomfortable with that, the church also has a contemplative way of worship. The organist and choir has my head bobbing to all the notes lol. I love that they integrate technology in a way that I've never experienced at another church including a podcast! I love that there's many ministries and different ways to be of service. All to say, I love church, I love God and I love the spiritual journey I'm on. At the end of the day, it's up to you to come and decided if this church is a good fit. To really experience and take it all in. Not what these reviews say, including my own, not what your family or friends say, but you and only you.

Little by little I felt like this beautiful church was ultimately not interested in teaching the Bible. It seems only interested in teaching what supports the lifestyles of the pastor and congregants. It's reformed christianity. Many sermons the subjects get more into signaling than into traditional scripture. I prefer a more open minded church. This place claims to be welcoming, but i have found it welcoming only if you support the latest trends. The flags outside the church prove just that. I hope the church finds new management, because it has so much potential, in this location, and in this facility.
