Center Associates exists to provide high quality and comprehensive mental health services to the residents of Marshall and Hardin counties in order to enhance the lives of individuals and families. Center Associates' services are accredited by the State Division of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Development Disabilities. Your inquiries and all services are confidential. Outpatient: Individual, couple, and family psychotherapy, psychoactive mediations management and monitoring. Evaluation: Disability determinations, prescreening for psychiatric hospital care and psychological testing. Emergency 24 hour availability, for Marshalltown call, and for Hardin County call after-hour hospital evaluations, Education: Current trends in treatment, role of medication and psychotherapy, parent and family interaction, Center Associates role and function, and other topics upon request. Dr Steiner seen my husband for severe memory issues (verifiable by neurologists that he's seen). He…read morecompletely refused to give Jeff permission to record his sessions denying he has the memory issues that "he claimed to the extent he claims" (again verifiable). I claimed "memory issues" not total amnesia! I wrote/sent him a concerned letter about our remaining bill (attached the letter to this review) and he replied with anger/insults/name calling, etc. please read both letters in full. I did not insult, call names, threaten him, etc as he claims. He's angry and never did answer why my husband was denied being able to record his sessions. He does have a Dr. now that video records sessions so my husband can review them. Again, everything I've stated about my husbands memory issues CAN be verified by many tests/Drs. The simple fact that Dr. Steiner denies these issues even exist says a LOT! So in short, a Dr. that goes off in this manner is not someone I could recommend in good conscious. Decide for yourself...is this someone you want treating you or a loved one? He was counting on my husbands memory loss on him not being capable of relaying any information back to me.
