We actually arrived about 2 1/2 hours later than we planned due to a major problem that closed a ten mile stretch of I-80 and all of the detours were swamped. There is something intriguing about an Indian Truck Stop especially since my dad was a truck driver. I doubt that he ever experienced an Indian Truck Stop, Native American or Asian Indian. After a quick look at the menu, I ordered Chicken Vindaloo and my wife ordered Saag Paneer along with Basmati Rice and Garlic Naan (rice and bread are ordered separately). We also split a Mango Lassi. After a short wait, our orders came out and we could finally start eating. The Basmati Rice was fluffy and worked really well with our entrées. The Chicken Vindaloo was delicious and spicy but my mouth recovered after a while. The Saag Paneer was likewise very good. But the Garlic Naan was the absolute bomb!! I could have made a complete meal out of just that! It is a surprising find this far from a major city.

They also have lots of different sauces for it inside. Well the restrooms are average clean. The most sad part is that all this food was in a restaurant that is located inside the store. Also on the outside of the store , they have semi truck parking for 15 trucks. When interstate 80 was closed I stopped here to grab some quick snacks.

I think we have discovered one of the most quint spots around the lake, the Portside Express. Not only did we get our fuel, but we found some of the best tasting BBQ and Broasted chicken on the planet. I know where we're going to eat the next time we're in the area. DISHONEST! When pulling into the parking lot I saw their sign listing unleaded fuel for $3.32 per…read moregallon. When I was filling my vehicle I noticed I was being charged $3.72, 40¢ higher than the signage indicated. I walked over and looked at the sign again thinking I had misread it, but I hadn't. I then noticed the small print on the sign saying that price was only for certain pumps. The neighboring stations were selling their gas for the $3.32 price so it wouldn't raise any flags to customers passing through. Upon mentioning this to the person working the counter I was told "well, it says it on the sign."
