They also have lots of different sauces for it inside. Well the restrooms are average clean. The most sad part is that all this food was in a restaurant that is located inside the store. I actually wanted to grab something that is very quick to make and eat like corn dog or a pizza or hot dog. But unfortunately that didn't have none of that. Also on the outside of the store , they have semi truck parking for 15 trucks. When interstate 80 was closed I stopped here to grab some quick snacks.

We needed fuel, and I needed to stretch my legs. and 2. The choices were an elegant, very bright and very corporate Shell station if we turn left. Or the almost spooky rode hard and put away wet family looking owned (not AS corporate) Sinclair station / Truck oasis with a road house bar/restaurant in the parking lot if we turn right. I opted for the Sinclair station, they weren't as busy, the fuel price was the same and I'm a fan of supporting smaller companies/family run places. Now Sinclair may gross more $ than Shell, but the stop looked interesting so they got my business. On the door as you walk in is a flyer proclaiming that as of some specific date I cannot recall, this fuel stop is 100% smoke free! Behind the counter was a lady who greeted me with a smile and a cigarette hanging from her mouth. Mama and the kids went to make use of the facilities. The potty was clean enough, nothing scary, smelled of chlorine and was kept up. The selection of Jerky was amazing, 3 different end caps, 5 different brands. Hell ya, this is what road tripping is all about. If only they had Alabama's greatest hits on CD for .99 cents. Maybe they did, I just couldn't find it. Word.

Stopped at this gem on the southside of I-80 at the Gothenburg exit. Very clean and friendly…read morestaff. Especially appreciative for the wonderful dog park! Our two golden retrievers were able to run free and play while we were filling up our vehicle. If you're travelling with dogs across Nebraska, make Blake's in Gothenburg your stop!

I think we have discovered one of the most quint spots around the lake, the Portside Express. Not only did we get our fuel, but we found some of the best tasting BBQ and Broasted chicken on the planet. I know where we're going to eat the next time we're in the area. Date of visit: May 24, 2026…read more One of many stops on our way from Milwaukee to Las Vegas, this place isn't much to look at, both inside or out, but it was conveniently located off the freeway and because it wasn't very busy, I was able to walk around the parking lot and stretch my legs as well as get more steps in before heading back to the car for the next long stretch of road. You could definitely do worse than the Western Convenience Store when you're making your way across the state of Nebraska.

We are not going to let any company hold 75 to 100 dollars more to pay at the pump with our bank card! So anyway for some stupid moronic reason they would not let him put fuel in both vehicles on the same transaction! Now what kind of stupid moronic sense did that make when I could have used my credit card and he would not have ever known! So instead of padding their customer count they now have lost 2 customers permanently! This store is the worst and never ever will I give them a dime!
