My hijo pedio La Enchiladas Morelianas.

Worser surprised this was a find of the trip!…read more We only went because it was within walking distance from the hotel and were we surprised The outside is kinda unassuming but let's you know it's an older building But once you get closer oh you started to see it had charm and depth that was welcoming as well as mysterious They do have valet parking and a gift shop right inside the door for any budget The service was topnotch and our server took the time to go over everything with greatest of care as our Spanish isn't the best yet I had the Tun San Miuelito it was hands down the best tuna I've had ever and I've had it prepared many ways it was a nice medium done steak in what tasted like a A1 sauce reduction just rich creamy and smokey We split some chocolate cake with a butterscotch sauce topping yummy Was a wonderful night Happy 29th Anniversary to my hubby

My review is 4.5 stars…read more The reviews are accurate; this is a cozy place with great service and innovative regional food. The flavors are familiar but combined in a way I hadn't thought of, and surprisingly, they taste amazing. Each bite is rich with textures, flavors, and leaves a lasting aftereffect when you finish chewing. The staff is very friendly and helpful, welcoming you with a piece of sourdough bread paired with purple corn masa (which I believe they make in-house), served alongside a rich but not spicy salsa. For those used to big portions, you'll need to order more than one dish here. The portions are "normal/common in Mexico," so foreigners should be aware. This place is worth a visit.
