Avoid hiring Durt Works AT ALL COSTS! Do not hire them because they offer you the lowest quote…read more I contracted Braeden at the end of May to demolish barns and clear trees. After just a few days of work, his equipment broke down. He claimed he would return to complete the job once they were repaired, but three months passed without any sign of him. He is terrible at communicating and left my property scattered with metal debris, trash and tree limbs. If he had communicated that he was unable to complete the work, I would have been more than willing to compromise and work toward a solution. Instead, he stopped all contact and abandoned the project. He is now in breach of contract, and I am taking legal action. Durt Works is completely unreliable. These 5 star reviews are probably from his friends and family, don't be fooled.

AmeTex replaced the roofs on two of my rental properties which were damaged in a recent tornado…read more Gus met me at the property and explained everything. AmeTex had the shingles delivered to the property and placed directly on the top of the building, so that it was easy for the crew to get up there and do the work in a timely manner. Gus was respectful, his men did a fine job, and he communicated clearly. He sent a receipt even before I requested it for insurance purposes! Even though I am a property owner from out of town, and they could have taken advantage of this, they really did a good job for me. The roofs look great and I am pleased with this professionally-run business.

DO NOT WORK with Adam Bennett with Bennett custom Metals. He is a scammer. He quoted us on a…read morebackyard porch build and said he could start in a week. After I signed the contract and gave him $500, he ghosted us for a whole month. It was always something. Couldn't find his keys. Blamed other people. Then said he was sick with a fatal diagnosis. Finally after contacting him over and over again, he showed up to start our job but provided a new contract that was over $700 more than the original contract I signed. We reminded him that we signed the contract for the original price and we were contractually signed to have it done for that price but he wouldn't start until we signed the contract for the new price. We asked him for our deposit back since he wouldn't start the work unless we paid him the $700 difference. He said he would give the deposit back to us within 30 days in person and via text. Now he refuses to give the deposit back and says we fired him and "backed out". He then chose to call me some vulgar words because he is being called out for being a scammer. Do NOT hire this man and work with his business.
