I've never had a burrito with just meat and onions inside worst place ever and the cashier is rude as

My son was craving some nachos and I work in a restaurant I see they have chips but they didn't want to make me nachos for my son so I ordered a burrito I got home was the worse burrito I've ever had the beans and rice was on the side inside the burrito was only meat and onions

The Asada quesadilla I inhaled was enoug for 3 ppl. I couldn't stop eating it just long enough to snap a few pics. Locals roll to this truck everyday from govt workers to road crews - construction and truckers. Tasty -hot- fresh and fast not to mention fairly priced. FRESH FRESH FRESH the locals expect nothing else.

Generous portions; fresh food; tasty salsas; friendly, efficient service; $2.00 tacos. I love this truck.

Taco was ok and overpriced. They are also stingy with sauce and condiments. 2$ per taco.

Good food. Veggie burrito was really good. Wanted a bean burrito but didn't seem be on menu. Service was good and helpful. Ambiance is taco truck good. Nice seating, canopy, condiments, security guard. Maybe even a bathroom with service station nearby! English is good tho Spanish might be more appreciated.

However, only a tiny fraction of these pop-ups boasts a substantial crowd -- unsurprisingly, the bustling operations tend to be among the best. One popular taqueria is Tacos Tamix, a mini-fleet of loncheras specializing in Mexico City-style al pastor. Gone are Tamix's streetside trombos, but the Tamix trucks still have sizeable queues late into the night. I first visited the Picu-Union truck on Hoover. The taxi-yellow lonchera and its vibrant LED lights pop out against an otherwise dimly lit block. Parking within the Mobil gas station lot is like a game of Tetris. Metal folding chairs and pop-up tables are scattered underneath E-Z Up canopies. Order numbers, shouted out over the intercom, occasionally break the hum of street traffic. A security guard watches over the operation. We arrived for a late weekend dinner, and Tamix maintained a steady stream of customers. We were able to order quickly, and our food was prepared within 10 minutes. We tried multiple Tacos con Queso (Al Pastor, Asada, and Chorizo), as well as Mulitas (Carnitas). The palm-sized tortillas were sprinkled with a moderate portion of meat and an even layer of crispy cheese. Of the meats, I was most impressed by the juicy, flavorful al pastor; however, I was surprised that the taco was not garnished with pineapple. Meanwhile, I found the remaining proteins to be tasty but dry. Otherwise, the tacos were clearly superior to Tamex's sad excuse for mulitas, which were bogged down by flimsy and soggy (rather than crispy and fried) tortillas. Our bill ran $15 (relatively reasonable by LA taqueria standards nowadays), of which half belonged to the disappointing mulitas. While the late-night hours were a major plus, only the taco al pastor was memorably enjoyable; otherwise, the lackluster menu isn't worth a visit out of your way.

Check this place out during the LA Auto show, it was pretty good overall…read more Here's the breakdown of what we got: - Tom Yum chicken banh mi sandwich. My wife got this and thought it was good. She thought it was going to taste like the soup but it didn't. But still tasted good. - Grilled cheese sandwich. My son ate this and loved it. Big portion and very cheesy. Definitely not kids size. But if you like grilled cheese, check this one out. - Patty melt. I got this and it was bomb. Everything worked well together and again, the sandwich was huge. I was hungry so I finished it of course! - Tofu fries. Loved the flavors, especially the hoisin sauce. It worked so well with the fries. But the actual fries can be a hit or miss. They are fried twice which can make them extra crispy, but you also get some that are over fried which wasn't fun to bite into. Maybe if the fries were only fried once it would be better? Lastly the price we paid for everything was a little on the high side. Guess that's expected since it was in LA and at the LA Auto Show. Would we try this place again? Sure! They have a big menu and would love to try the other dishes they offer.

They need to be returning our money as we did not get our refunds. This is absolute rubbish and a disaster Buying restaurant depot foods and charging Restaurant products absolutely horrible As also soreness to the food and it's not fresh While speaking to other people in the area, they have all agreed that they saw what happened and they are completely in the wrong. I don't think that they realize that if I would've eaten that sandwich, they gave me containing mayonnaise as they said it had it verbally after I purchased it and received it and it didn't say it on the menu that I could've sued them perhaps maybe we will and they tell me that what I'm doing is harassment lol harassment for speaking up harassment for purchasing a product and getting something else and being overcharged? That's just their defense to being incorrect/wrong. See you in court.
