The restaurant looked imposing but we settled in easily. The other guests were good company and once we decided on a starting beverage and the beverage pairing we were off on the adventure. The chef uses unique local and fermented products to good effect. His team delivers excellent service and food. I enjoyed everything and would recommend the experience to others interested in a food adventure. I'd be surprised if a Michelin star weren't in the future.

We enjoyed the pizza which had fresh ingredients and I had the cuddlefish because I was craving something more local - all of which was we both thoroughly enjoyed. I can't speak to mixed drinks but they had a good Madrid beer on tap. It was a healthy mix of locals and some tourists but not overly busy. Service was great and very friendly to English speakers. This was an old celler (winery) that it is use now as a restaurant. It is in the center of Petra, hometown of fray Juniper Serra. You get in descending some stairs and you find a small dining room full of tables. I suggest you to order the caragols (snails) as a starter. Also you can have a plate of frit (for sharing). It is made with blood and guts, with potato, onion, bell peppers and herbs, you will love it or you will hate it. And after get some rousted porcella (rousted suckling pig) or grilled sepia (close to calamari). You can't go wrong with these ones!. Order some wine from the island and you will enjoy an incredible meal in an awesome place.
