I've been visiting Ity every month for more than a year now for eyebrow threading (15 CHF) , and I…read moreabsolutely love the results each time. Ity is always very attentive and patient in listening to exactly what I want, and she is diligent in taking her time to get me there. I rarely do threading because I've always found it so much more painful than waxing, but with Ity, there was no pain at all...I found her threading to be even more painless than waxing. I would highly recommend Ity for threading, and each month I looking forward to my appointment with her. Moreover, Ity is very friendly, and I always have a great time chatting with her. Since she works out of her home, her schedule is pretty flexible. She's quick to respond via SMS, phone, or e-mail for setting up appointments. She does the threading at her dining table, so it's not a salon-type setting, but I never have any problems with it. Ity makes sure that you feel comfortable and at ease in her chair, which I always do. I've had my brows done (both threading and waxing) at all sorts of different places in both San Francisco, CA and Houston, TX (my previous 2 homes), and without a doubt, I'd confidently state that I've had the best experience out of all of them with Ity.

Ity is very friendly and professional. She knew exactly what to do to clean my eyebrows up. She also made suggestions on how to care for them better going forward. The whole process was quick and easy. I am thrilled with how my brows and upper lip (i´ll no more traumatize this area with wax) look and will be going back many many times! Overall I am very happy with my first threading experience and I couldn't recommend Ity enough :) :) :)

They use Dermalogica products here and really tout that. The spa is located in the Hürlimann-Areal complex, on the corner right across from the Thermalbad & Spa. I booked an appointment for Saturday afternoon at 2 pm, and when I arrived, the door was locked because Claudia was working alone. But when I rang the buzzer, she came out promptly and I only had to wait a few minutes for her to finish up with the previous customer. I've had many facials over the years, so I was curious how this one would stack up. PROS: - Claudia speaks fairly good English and explained everything as she went along. - She is extremely nice and polite and made me feel very comfortable. - The atmosphere was quite nice with soothing music and comfy chair to relax in. - The extraction/cleaning was quite mild, so I didn't leave with angry red spots all over my face like in other places. CONS: - There were two things that Claudia didn't know how to explain in English, so I'm not exactly sure what was in two of the products she used. - My face felt like it burned a bit when she applied the mask, but I don't know if it's because I've been using acne treatment that makes my skin more sensitive right now. But it was fine after the facial. - The extraction was so mild that I'm not sure how effective it actually was. - I didn't really notice much of a facial massage, and there was no shoulder massage during the mask treatment like in some other places. - Claudia's technique felt really slow. She used the same motions that I've experienced in other places, but it seemed like it was at half-pace. I don't know why. Overall, I would say that this place is okay for a classic facial, but I wouldn't choose it to be my regular place.
