To my shame, I realized that there was so much about etiquette that my Generation X crowd just never learned! From the proper way to shake hands to being a professional at the office, SueAnn is a wonderful teacher. As someone who worked in human resources for over a decade, I expected to be more knowledgeable about the office section but SueAnn's content surprised me. She even had tips about working remotely and the use of mobile devices in both personal and professional settings. One unexpected bonus our class received was being given a color analysis and learning which color clothing we look better in. We loved it! Where the course really comes alive is with the meal and dining section. We all learned SO much! She lets you ask questions and you will learn how to be either a rock star host or a good guest. I WISH that I had taken this course sooner. It's All About Etiquette offers many programs for children and teens. Parents, send your kids! Give your children a competitive advantage in life. These courses are worth every cent, especially when you consider that SueAnn has worked with many leading companies. It's a shame that proper etiquette and good manners are declining in society. We just finished our first season with CFAZ and feel like I can give a candid review…read more My daughter spent years doing gymnastics through various community/req style programs. Then a year or so through a satellite location of a major valley gymnastics gym. I could tell she was bored, and frankly...she was not progressing. After some research, we decided to try cheer. We went into the season with the intention of joining a non-travel, but during evaluations, the Coaches asked if we would consider putting our daughter on a more competitive travel team and we went for it! If you are new to the world of All-Star cheer as we were...it's super overwhelming at first. There is a significant time and financial commitment from families, however it is pretty well laid out up front in the parent handbook. I've learned in connecting with other Cheer parents (across state lines and other gyms) that this is generally what is to be expected of the sport and not specifically a CFAZ thing. That all being said, reflecting on this last year, my only regret is that we hadn't discovered this program and enrolled our daughter sooner!!! She has LOVED every minute from the very first pre-eval clinic, to the time she finished her last season's performance. YES-- the physical gains from this year are evident. She has grown in all aspects of the sport- but the real value is in the intangibles. Cheer has taught her the importance of team (which as an only child carries a lot of weight with us), discipline, and most of all...it has unlocked a confidence that we hadn't seen before. She (as well as WE) have met some wonderful new friends and families along the way. She has had the opportunity to work with many of the coaches at the gym either from her team, classes or private lessons and they all bring their own unique qualities to the program. If there is one negative to mention its that there is definitely a learning curve for new families. I think many families start in a Prep team to learn the ropes-- so perhaps it was just us jumping right in, but I did wish there was maybe a "All Star Cheer 101" for new families. But even putting that aside, you eventually figure it out. Tips for any new families considering joining this crazy world of All-Star Cheer-- We highly recommend CFAZ!! Recognize that the program's priority is focused around the kids-- not parents. Trust in the process- the coaches will see more of your kids' progress and abilities than you will. Don't be afraid to ask the questions if you have them and find some good veteran families to help fill in those educational gaps along the way.

It's now over three months and the new story is that one step beyond caters to existing clientel. Our daughter has been relagated to our home only communicated with her 2 parents. Very sad. One step beyond does not demonstate one bit of compassion.

His exercises and activities keep the kids moving, motivated and learning. They get to participate here more than any other studio class we've taken anywhere else. My kids were able to take 3 classes (that's a whole week of classes) to try it out before we owed our first payment.
