The owner keeps taking down my review on Google so I've gone to Yelp now. My intention with this review is to prevent any other girl from going through the same awful makeup experience I went through. I was supposed to get my formal makeup done and absolute unprofessionalism was ridiculous . First I showed her my reference photo and she tried to shade match me, and begun to paint me with the wrong shade. When I asked if she had a lighter shade, she said the shade on me was the lightest they had and that I should've gotten a spray tan... She then began my eye makeup. My eyes are hooded, so when she applied the eyeliner incorrectly it drooped down and looked awful. After this, she rubbed off all my makeup and started again because it looked absolutely ridiculous. She then got me a lighter shade of foundation (despite previously saying they didn't have anything lighter) and she started my makeup again. She then asked ME if I could do my own eyeliner. Then she disappears for half an hour to do someone else's spray tan in the middle of my appointment? This spray tan break made my appointment go for almost half an hour longer than it was supposed to. When she came back she held up two lashes and asked which ones I wanted. There were these tiny ones that only covered half the eye and these absolutely massive ones. I asked if there were any more options and she said they were the only two lashes they had so I chose the smaller lashes. My dad texted me and when I responded I opened the camera and was greeted by a Frankensteined version of myself. I nearly burst into tears it was so bad. I told myself that if I could just get through it I could go home and scrub it off but it was no good. This was for my school formal, something that was supposed to be special and where I was supposed to look nice and I looked like a corpse. Me and my mother had already spent hundreds of dollars on my dress and shoes and ticket and it was about to be ruined by my awful face. I seriously dread to think about another girl in my situation. These people claim to do bridal makeup... a girl on her wedding day being put through this level of disrespect and disregard is seriously evil. I repeatedly asked if she wanted to see the reference photo again and she refused. I burst into tears as she was doing my lips. I have genuinely never felt this ugly in my life. I bunch of people came out and I told them that I was sorry and I just didn't like it and they took my makeup off, gave me a free pair of lashes (turns out they did have more than two pairs), told me I didn't have to pay and I left. The appointment went on for almost half an hour longer than it was supposed to. I went home, scrubbed my face clean, did my own makeup and showed up almost an hour late to my own school formal. I missed out on taking all the photos. This night was ruined and I'll never get it back. I will only ever have one formal and I missed out on it because of this buisness. The few photos I do have are punctured by the makeup I had to do myself after scrubbing off your awful work. Arriving at formal and seeing everyones beautiful professionally done makeup and talking to them about their experience with their lovely makeup artists is what pushed me to write this review. Thanks for ruining my night. Thanks for wasting my time. Thanks for taking something already stressful and making it 1000% worse. I hope this review stops at least one girl from having her night ruined. I will not hesitate from showing everyone I know the absolutely appalling photos of the makeup you did. I hope your business never touches a woman's skin again. If you had any respect you'd hire actual professionals or close down. read more
