This place was closed for a huge remodel for over 4 months. They actually offer less in the…read moreconvenient store now than they did before the renovations: The Icee machine was removed, and the merchandise was rearranged. New flooring and paneling was added. A grave disappointment, especially since they refer to themselves as a "travel center." The only reason I awarded more than one star (let alone 3) is because of the Whataburger restaurant that they added. Hands down, this is the best Whataburger that I have ever visited. EVER. The drive-thru line moves quickly, the window clerks are prepared and prompt, and the food is ready once you arrive at the window. If you are a fan of milkshakes, I can honestly say, I have never had a better one! Thick, rich, and you can taste the ice cream AND the flavor: Very much like the old fashioned shakes from the drug store era. My advice: Unless you plan on visiting the Whataburger, keep driving. You'll find much better convenience stores ahead in Atlanta.

The place is not very big, but on the plus side there is a Grandy's chicken attached! Easy access in and out to the pumps, friendly staff and a Grandy's all make this a place worth checking out!
