The nursing staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure that our family member was receiving the best possible care. Managing a complex IV regimen can be challenging, but the nursing staff at Cedarwood Post Acute made it look easy. They were always on top of our family member's medication schedule, ensuring that they received the right doses at the right times. My grandfather has spent the past six months residing at Cedarwood. He is comfortable and receiving excellent care. My involvement in his needs and care is extensive; I visit him weekly, sometimes more frequently, during various shifts and times. The staff is polite, tidy, considerate, and aware of the needs of each and every patient. They notify me if something is wrong with my grandpa and also when they have to send him out to the hospital. I have graciously and dignifiedly recommended Cedarwood to two patients, and I would do it without a second thought. I asked millions of questions, showed my concern, and they listened and sometimes all I needed was to let it all out. The staff is committed to providing the patients with the best possible care and comfort which I have witnessed with my own eyes when they were taking care of my grandpa. Due to some weaknesses and health difficulties, my aunt required rehab. We were impressed by the Cedarwood Post Acute staff's warmth and politeness. We noticed the same thing with the woman who shared the room with her: the staff always treated her with respect as well. My aunt reported that the meals tasted great and were diverse and appetizing to look at. They paid close attention to my aunt's stated preferences. The therapists, CNAs, and nurses consulted with my aunt and collaborated with her to help her reach her recovery objectives. With all the excellent care she received, my aunt, who arrived at the institution in a wheelchair, was thankfully able to leave the building by walking out independently. read more

I don't typically leave reviews, but for this I had to. I toured this facility to find a place for my Mom. I've never been to a SNF before. The admissions person set up a tour and gave me a great understanding of what to expect if I had my Mom come here. She had hip surgery and needed rehab. Not only was the facility clean, but the staff were all smiles. She's been there for a week, and is really loving all the treatment she gets. She wanted to stay another few weeks because she loves the care that much. I highly recommend this place for anyone who needs the care that my Mom got. read more

Among the Skilled Nursing Facility tours I took to place my uncle, Cedarwood was my top choice, but it was not the closest to my home. There are many fruit trees on the property and each patient room I visited smelled clean and was well-maintained. If only it wasn't the farthest of my four options, my uncle would be there now. It is close to the river and had the best presentation. The staff was very likable and I watched one patient joke with a nurse, which gave me hope for my uncle, since he's a funny guy, too. When me and my friend visited my friend's father, who was a patient at Cedarwood Post Acute, I was quite impressed. The staff was incredibly warm, accommodating, and family-oriented. I observed how they cared for the patients and can attest that they did so with family-like compassion. I really appreciated how diverse the employees were. According to my friend and her family, they did a great job taking care of her dad and offering excellent service. The building was pristine and didn't have any odor at all. The food is delicious and the housekeeping is on top of keeping the facility clean. I toured Cedarwood as I was told on a call with some case managers that this is now the facility they trust to send their patients to. It has had new ownership since March and the change is magnificent. All the staff who work here should be so proud of how great this place looks. Omg this place has been so helpful to me and my family. We have been nervous putting our dad in a place but the staff, the Administrator and owner have just put a feeling of calm in my whole family. My mother in law stayed in this facility for a period and loved it. She was able to get to know the other residents and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. PT worked very hard to get her back on her feet and she was able to climb stair and walk again by the time her stay ended. Great facility! I was there for a tour and warmly greeted by a CNA named Erin right when I got in. She made sure I was able to meet with the Director of Nursing and learn about their clinical capabilities. They also just replaced their floors last week and have made rooms look newer.
