Cedar Rock is a family owned dairy I've patronized since 19'. Sam is old school with overalls, chewing tobacco and a fanbase so loyal he doesn't need a website or reviews. His A2 Jersey cows graze on grass and you can taste the difference. The beef isn't fatty and the milk is liquid gold!
RAW MILK VS. STORE BOUGHT (Soapbox)
If GA. farmers can't afford an expensive license, new barns & bottling facilities, the Raw Dairy Act requires milk to be labeled "for pets only" or "not for human consumption." Scary label aside, raw milk is a living food containing every amino acid. It prevents allergies, builds immunity, helps with digestion etc. Good milk comes from healthy, grass-fed cows raised on clean pastures with proper handling and safety.
Lactose intolerance exists because store bought milk comes from sick cows who are raised in feedlots on undigestible corn & soy, grown with pesticides & synthetic fertilizers. They're given steroids for rapid weight gain & antibiotics so they don't die. Required pasteurization kills enzymes, destroys beneficial bacteria & degrades heat-sensitive vitamins. Then artificial nutrients are added. Weston A. Price and Nina Planck are good resources.
CEDAR ROCK COWS/MILK
Cedar Rock cows are healthy, pasture-raised and A2 (digestible protein). Visit to see where your food comes from. Girl cows have cute names like "Milkshake" but Sam doesn't name boy cows. He said "You can call him ground beef" LOL. All jokes aside, radiation killed my loved ones appetite but raw milk added weight and vitality. Even when it sours, it's good! Unlike pasteurized milk which rots and stinks up the fridge, raw milk clabbers like buttermilk. Use it to bake and even exfoliate your skin!
GRASS-FED BEEF
Grass-fed beef fights cancer and reduces risk of heart disease. It's not greasy, it's lean so it doesn't sit on your stomach like store bought meat. You'll be surprised how little oil is left in the pan after cooking!
PICKUP/PAYMENT
In addition to farm pickup, Sam makes stops in Columbus, Forsyth and closer to the FL border. Cash or check only.
