"J" doesn't usually complain about pain but this issue needed to be diagnosed right away. After recommendations from my sister, who said there was a dentist office just down the street, we went to see Dr. Kim at the Sunstone Dental Clinic. This newer building was decorated neatly and eye pleasing on the inside. My daughter and I were both thrilled with the immediate friendly service we received. We were even given a short wait for an immediate emergency appointment! While we waited all of six minutes, we were offered a cup of tea or coffee by Kristy. To my surprise, a delicious cup of coffee arrived in a charming tea cup on a tray accompanied by cold cream, sweetener and two biscuits! Tea house style!! I was encouraged to bring it with me into the exam room. The doctor, James Kim was kind and possessed a great bedside manner as he explained what he concluded after inspecting the xrays. Considering our limited time before flying home, he kindly gave options for her treatment. We decided it was best to wait to have a route canal, filling and crown by a periodontist back home. He could pull the tooth in question if the pain was unbearable but he recommended my daughter to save her tooth. After paying, J and I left with a prescription for an antibiotic and ibuprofen recommendation. We agreed that this visit was most professional and reassuring! If my sister or anyone is wanting dental care in the North Delta area, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Kim his team!

My kids each had an appointment yesterday on sept 22,2022 for extractions to prepare them for…read morebraces. My son had 3 extractions and my daughter was scheduled for 2. Apparently the dentist in charge of my daughter Dr. Sana Kavei, was working on my daughter, administered the freezing, and when she began to extract the tooth my daughter moved her body because she felt pain. Dr. Kavei threw down the extraction tool, ripped off her gloves, and told my 12 year old daughter to find another dentist. She yanked my daughters tooth half way out, stopped the procedure and stormed off. dr Kavei refused to come and talk to me, but when we got home and saw the amount of blood coming from my child's mouth, I called the office back to get more information. I then had to file a formal complaint about dr. Kavei with the BC College of Oral Health. Once I did that, I called the dentists office back, and the manager asked me to talk to the dentist. She got on the phone and I yelled at her and reminded her that she's taken an oath as a doctor to help patients and that she has left my child in so much pain. I informed her of the complaint I made and told her she would never work as a dentist again if I had anything to do with it. Dr. Kavei then called the police and lied and said I threatened her life!! The police called me and within 30 seconds they realized that this doctor lied. They dropped the situation and apologized to me. The next morning I called the dentist office and they said that they want me to move my kids files elsewhere. Mind you, this is with my child's tooth half removed. Dr Kavei is a danger to the public and if I were you I would never ever go to her. She is a recent graduate, 2021 of UBC, and she has no business dealing with people. Avoid this entire clinic. They call me every day of the year begging me to come for appointments but they are corrupt and do not conduct proper background checks on their staff.

He's been good with helping me look after my teeth. He's always checking to make sure that i'm okay during any procedure. The Dental assistants are amazing to, Super Friendly. Guildford Heights Dental Centre 10330 152nd Street #10…read moreSurrey,British Columbia V3R 4G8 (604)589-4060 On February 8th at 1:10 of 2022, I went to Guildford Heights Dental Centre to have all my teeth removed, upper and lower dentures and implants in the lower jaw, and upper and lower dentures. It is now JANUARY 2023 and I still do not have dentures. I have been on a baby food diet for 11 months and have lost a lot of weight, it will be several months before I will be able to get Dentures. There was no problems with the removal of the teeth and installation of the implants, but when it came to the dentures that has not gone well! Starting in September 29th at 11AM 2022, I had many appointment for impressions, they made at least two dozen impressions, this should have been a red flag that the Dentist {Billy Huang, Guildford Heights Dental Centre} did not know what he was doing! When the wax dentures (November 8th) were fitted they were so crooked they were only suitable for Halloween! At this time (November 8th, 2 PM, 2022) (Dentist, Billy Huang, Guildford Heights Dental Centre) informed that he would not be providing me with dentures and that I should find a Denturist to have them made (NOTE I never complained about the Dentures). Billy Huang of Guildford Heights Dental Centre, took pictures of the dentures in my mouth. I believe that among other things he did not know how to use the jigs to make dentures, in particular the "Facebrow" Jig. One end was installed in my left ear canal (correct) the other end was installed above my right ear canal (incorrect) which I believe explains why the Wax Dentures were so crooked . I do not believe he knew how to make impression as so many were made. The Denturist I have gone to made three impressions, one for the upper dentures, one for the lower denture and one for the alignment of the upper and lower jaw. He did not use a Facebrow jig! When I checked the Biography for Billy Huang there as no indication that he had had any training or experience making Dentures! On November 13, 2022, I asked Guildford Heights Dental Centre, for a refund for services and Dentures that they had not supplied, and for the advance payment I had been asked for to pay for the dentures, We do not believe we should have to pay for anything to do with the dentures as they did not provide them and all indicators that they were not qualified to make impressions or use the equipment to make dentures. We have paid them many thousands of dollars which is difficult on our small pension. We called Guildford Heights Dental Centre again in early January and they indicated they were not doing anything! Eventually Guildford Heights Dental Centre contacted us and indicated that they would pay us a reduced refund "As they had lab expenses" ( I think the lab expenses were for the many impressions and the manufacture of the dentures) We believe Guildford Heights Dental Centre were/are not qualified to do and as they did not fit after they made so many impressions. I do not believe we should be expected to pay for services they were not qualified to provide. We should not have to pay for anything to do with the dentures!Guildford heights Dental Centre should have been aware of the services they could/could not, provide and sent me to a Denturist as soon as my jaw was healed.. It has been a month and a half since I requested a refund and have received nothing. In addition to the thousands of dollars we paid to Guildford Dental Centre I must now pay $6000+ more to have dentures made by a Denturist which will take more months. I will continue to be on a baby food diet, with no solid food! Guildford Dental Heights Centre post Five Star reviews on "THEIR WEB" site which they control. They are well written and look as if they were written by the same person who has an excellent command of the English language. My experience during the many times that I was in the waiting room was that many patients do not have a good command of the English language as it was not their primary language and I believe at least one patient had a translator. This leads me to believe that the Five Star ratings are suspicious, and not to be believed!

First of all, I know my working schedule only 3 weeks in advance, no need to bother me every 2 weeks with your reminders. And, if you don't pick up the phone, they send you an email. 4.
