As a resident and landlord, I have never heard of anything terribly wrong about the Darby Estates Community. Sometimes some residents can become a little to nosy or members of the HOA board take their position too seriously, but this is not unlike other communities. I am very happy with the community, HOA, and current property management firm (Access Real Estate Services, LLC).

Hi there. I have…read moreowned my condo at Darby Estates for 11 years. The grounds are beautiful, the Community Center is high end gorgeous including a beautiful huge dinning area and kitchen. You can find lots of friendly people and respectable pet owners living here. My place is extremely quiet. And I have had only 1 change in neighbors in 11 years. That's great considering my condo is situated between two, and one above. If I were back in California, I would be paying double the monthly dues and not know who my neighbors are. I'm grateful to live in this safe community. DW

Laurie Satushek is the person you want representing you if you are a buyer in the Bellingham area…read more I know this from personal experience. In fact, I hadn't even planned to purchase a home in Bellingham, and was just visiting a friend in town, when I was introduced to Laurie. One thing led to another, and in a day, I was out looking at properties. Laurie is FROM Bellingham, and knows and understands the market there as well as any one person could. This knowledge base is of inestimable value. She showed me properties that fit the very narrow constraints of what I was willing to spend, what I was looking for in terms of an investment, the return I expected to get, etc. In other words, Laurie LISTENED to me. She didn't show me things she THOUGHT might work for me. She showed me properties that fit EXACTLY the parameters I was working in. This is a rare thing today in Real Estate. Agents are often so desperate to close that they'll show properties that have only the most remote connection to what the client has stated they are looking for. Also, Laurie was available to me at virtually all times, and always responded to my calls and e-mails in the most timely of fashions. I have been buying and selling houses for 20 years, and I wish I had met Laurie earlier. Having worked with people across the ability spectrum I can honestly say that I've never had an agent go so far above and beyond the job description as she did in helping me find the property that was exactly right for me. To call her tireless would be an understatement. And.. I got the impression she had plenty left in the tank. Add to that integrity, honesty and a great sense of humor, and you get an agent who is not only a pleasure to work with professionally, but someone who makes the multiple hours involved in hunting for, inspecting, and ultimately making an offer on a home seem virtually effortless. But the effort is there. If you're looking at homes in or around Bellingham, Trust this review. Don't buy a property in this area without first consulting with Laurie Satushek of Keller Williams.

She was exactly that, just when you needed her to be. We always knew she had our absolute best interests at heart and she was never willing to let us settle during moments of anxiety or fear.
