We skipped lunch at the 'House of Lechun' because the Yelp reviews all had low stars. The negative was that we don't get a tour guide like some other tours to provide to you as an option. The Island hopping tour doesn't compare to the ones I took at El Nido or Boracay. The tour guy didn't speak English and my girlfriend had to do all the interpretations and information on where we were at and suppose to do, There were fewer islands and sandbars to see, the fish and coral were less colorful, and the food was not as good and was cooked hours before you ate it. The transportation was a plus since they pick you up and drop you back at your hotel on Mactan Island or in Cebu City.

I was a bit surprised (and slightly caught off guard) when one of them started helping me with my luggage. He literally took my luggage and began wheeling them toward the gate, which startled me since I wasn't sure what was happening. He kept asking if I needed a taxi but thankfully I was able to kindly respond that I had already had a ride. Overall, this a pretty busy terminal, so stay vigilant and be mindful of your luggage and surroundings.

It seems like everybody has issues when they get up to the counter. The airport is not comfortable: the airport lack air conditioning in some areas and other areas it is working poorly. The seating is very limited, especially around the gates. More seating is available in the food area but you will end up smelling like food when you leave. The airport does have a lot of places to eat and shops. The shops are not too exciting but you can find cosmetic stores, nick knacks, mango shops and more. Enough to keep you busy for a while. The airport does have free wi-fi too.

I had so much fun and discovered so many new things and saw so many things that I have never seen in my life before. it was so surreal to see so many different types of fish and even some turtles and all of the beautiful corals underneath the water. this was one of the most fun things that I did while on my vacation in the Philippines, and I would highly recommend that everybody try it at least once.

Upon arrival, the porter approached us. I told him we want to go to Tagbilaran, Bohol. The next ferry was scheduled at 8 am departure, we arrived @ 750 am! I gave him $3 tip for getting us the tickets so quickly. There's different ticket fees depending where you want to sit. With AC, it's P500 per person and outside on top, is half I believe. Also, there's a tax which is P25. I would recommend depending on the weather to pay less and enjoy the fresh air and the wind in your hair. But returning back to Cebu. If you're taking the 5 pm -630 pm departure for your return, buy tickets for inside. We learned the hard way. On the way back it was so dark and very windy.

Service was exceptional, with employees popping in at random asking if we need anything. They brought all eight suitcases with a golfcart. I had a massage that was almost 4k pesos. No detail was spared; there was even a flower floating in a bowl of water for the sole purpose of looking at while I had a massage. There were kid activities and my daughter enjoyed making a bracelet, necklace, and purse. She enjoyed swimming in high tide as well as the pool. The breakfast buffet was nice; there was sushi and native cacao drinks. The dinner buffet was beautiful, and the theme was Cebu Street food. They even had a halo halo station and live music. Book a hotel and hope for the best! Stayed 4-days and it's not all pretty experience. This is suppose to be a business hotel but things messed up. I get it, they just hit by typhoon Odette and not everything worked properly but how come other budget hotels able to cope up and resume operations in a normal state. - Wi-Fi ain't working properly - no hot water during nighttime - flushing toilet is a challenge as it takes time to refill water - no butter nor American dish on their buffet - no full fridge, only chiller - windows locked, you can't open it For the price and for a business hotel like this, they should probably need to work their Wi-Fi connectivity. Seems like they don't double check the room before they stick their guests. All the issues we encountered are real hassle especially if you're doing your bookkeeping. PS: didn't switch other hotel as this is a non-refundable one (we booked it through Booking). Other than that the hotel staffs were so wonderful & they were so accommodating to us. But, save yourself from all the issues they got here. As possible, check the room before finalizing your check-in and payment! Find better hotels around that don't do false advertisement. Harold's Hotel is located on Gorordo Ave. and C. Rosal St. in Cebu City. You will see a BPI Branch across the street and a Nuat Thai 24 Hour massage branch catty corner from the hotel. Anywho, I called to check on pricing and they indicated it would be 568 pesos per adult. Sounded good to me. We arrived around 6 to 6:30 pm and parked right up front. When you enter the hotel the restaurant is directly to the right. We were seated promptly, a party of 6. At first glance, I felt they didn't offer a wide range of variety. However, even if the selection was not vast, the quality of their food made me forget that. I enjoyed everything. Everything from the salad to the table-served crispy pork was fresh and perfectly seasoned. The desserts tasted good. The dinner rolls and the bread platter they served were all delicious. Service was impeccable. Very quick and aimed to please. Superb! I couldn't ask for a better service. Ambiance was on point. Quiet and peaceful as if I were dining at an exclusive upscale restaurant. Perfect! Overall, I would frequent this buffet. I don't know if we just got lucky because it was a weekday but if they keep this up my family and I will keep coming back, whether for special occasions or just a meal on the fly. For the price I felt we got more than we asked for. Quality food served hot. Service was great. Just an fyi though alcoholic beverages and tea are not included in the price. They do offer coffee, water, and juice with the price.
