Found them at random (I think their Yelp add got my attention) and called the number. Haneef who is in charge called me back within a few minutes and accommodated my work schedule to set up a free visit to quote on the work. Once in my house he looked at the wallpaper, flooring and colour scheme and went back to his vehicle to bring some carpet samples that matched our decor. I much preferred this than having to go through the hundreds of options, Haneef has experience and taste and it was easier to choose from a small sample set than from a giant book. When he quoted the price I was happy, it was fair so I didn't negotiate. They promised 14 day turn around and within 5 days the carpet was fabricated and they called to schedule a Saturday morning install. The installers arrived on schedule, got to work quickly, and were done in an hour and a half. The stairs look great and the workmanship was excellent. I am a stickler for details and they really did a good job. The guys doing the work were polite and professional, and they cleaned up before taking off. I'm pretty happy. I love it when this sort of thing is easy and it was. Thanks Maple and Haneef, if I have another carpet need or set of stairs I will get in touch again.

If you don't find what you want at this place, there are a few other carpet stores with low prices in the neighbourhood within a few blocks on Danforth near Victoria Park. Definitely the area for carpet shopping. None of these small businesses have a website, so you have to go there to see what they have.

The lovely lady in Brothers' Carpet greeted me and asked me what I was looking for and very quickly offered to cut me a nice quality carpet size that I wanted, for a very reasonable price. I was told that it would take two days, and that was fine, but she called within a couple of hours to say that it was ready for pickup. That's customer service! Also I did not have to pay in full up front, she took a deposit of my choosing. Great experience.

Rizwan came to show us samples and quote on one of our house visits before the closing date and booked installation for the day after we moved in. Installation happened as promised, which was important to us because we didn't want the dog to move in until they were installed. Now, we (and the dog) love our stairs! Highly recommend.

Obvious sign of the pile being crushed happened within weeks. Submitted claim, only for it to be rejected, stating "After further review, oils and dry particulate matter have accumulated and the lack of vacuuming since the carpet was installed this past July is the reason behind the crushing." WTF? However, the first inspection of GH claim was the deterioration was a result of the vacuum. If i could give it 0 stars i would. Don't buy this line and don't go to Alexanian.

He did not answer and continued to avoid me. 3 emails later when I said I was about to cancel my order, he responded saying they had not started & I would need to find a place to live once I returned because they would not be complete for 3 more weeks. Since we no longer live in Toronto, I am unable to have them recleaned by the company. The smaller rug was as dirty as it was before cleaning. This carpet had been in a bedroom that was not used often, so the dirt was just from slippers. The larger rug now has an orange-line stain (see picture). I'm surprised by all of the excellent reviews since both of my rugs were not cleaned properly. The rugs were picked up, cleaned, and returned in under two weeks and the delivery men were pleasant and efficient.
