This office's service has gone down significantly lately. Mr. Tran Trinh is only out there to collect your money at his convenience. You'll see their true color once things go wrong on your behalf.
1- They charged me $3800 for two crowns while another office only charged me half of the price for the same materials, works, and (way better) service. I'm glad I fired him as a dentist to realize how much I was being overcharged.
2- I have to wear their UGLY, fake-looking temporary crowns for three months (or more) until they decide when they want to change them. You have to follow their "busy" schedule because they don't care about yours.
3- The 1st temporary crowns for my two front teeth, which they put on me, look like a piece of plastic Halloween teeth with thick white glue lines on top (where the gum is). The color is two shades more yellow than mine. I had temp crowns on me with different dentists before so I was shocked seeing how awful the one they put on me was. However, I was being nice thinking I would suck it up for only 2 weeks so I didn't complain. The crowns didn't last more than a week and fell off while eating noodles, I therefore chewed and cracked it (luckily, I didn't swallow it). My two horrible trimmed teeth were now exposed. I could not eat, speak properly (without full front teeth), to the point I couldn't see anyone (please see attached pic of how I looked like when the crown fell off). I immediately called Mr. Trinh Tran, asking if he could accommodate to fix it for me on a Sunday. However, Mr. Tran said that he only had one day off to spend time with family and refused to fix it for me when I most needed it. Mr. Tran, pls keep in mind that you are not the only person who needs to spend time with your family. What about your patient? Doesn't she? I had a hectic life schedule as well, and because of your sloppy job as a dentist, I had to cancel all my plans sitting at home, not being able to eat, speak and you callously acted like it was none of your business. Mr. Tran IF YOU PUT YOUR QUALITY OF LIFE ABOVE YOUR PATIENT'S, I highly suggest you reconsider your position to work in healthcare. UNDERSTANDING, DEDICATION, COMPASSION, and RESPONSIBILITY are everything, and you have NONE.
4- Why it took them 3 MONTHS (and maybe more) to finish my crowns?
- He didn't adjust my gum accurately the first time, so he had to redo it, which wasted me six weeks of waiting instead of 3.
- The lazy front desk lady didn't send the order to the color custom lab on time. The forgetful, careless dentist didn't give clear instructions of how my teeth should be, so the lab made my crown according to the model they sent which was exactly like my original teeth, not the cosmetic one I desired (please see pics) . This process took me additional 4 weeks of waiting instead of 2.
- Since I showed them I was upset about how messed up they were, the older front desk lady became petty. She then revenged me by adding another two weeks of waiting (so that I couldn't attend the important event I told her I wanted to go) for my permanent crowns claiming they were "busy." Let me tell you, no office is busier than the one who is NOT interested in their patients.
5- I eventually gave up and asked for the portion of the crowns which they have NOT rendered back. They said they would only partially refund me IF I agree NOT to write them NEGATIVE reviews and not sue them later on. They tried to use my money to shut me up. Are we living in a communist country? Refunding me my money is not considered a settlement because technically they did NOT compensate me for all the hassles I had to deal with. They are also shady for charging me the finalizing process of my crown installment but in reality it had not happened. When I asked them to itemize the services they charged me, they put a sum of everything together and said it included.
6- Why did I fire him as my dentist? Imagine living your life with an UGLY, temporary crown that can fall off anytime, knowing the dentist will not fix it unless it's convenient for him. Why would I be comfortable with a dentist who doesn't care about my quality of life, right? He didn't care that I was going two days living like a disabled. He didn't care that I held up my social life for almost three months because of that obvious fake looking temp crowns he put on me and because they didn't do their job right the first time. The older front desk lady NEVER sincerely apologized for how messed up they were but covered her mistakes with her pettiness instead.
CDIC, I hope before pointing your fingers back at your patient, your business should look at what you have done to lead her so.
Trust me; if you run a business simply for money without considering your patient, you will eventually fail! read more
