A little of my story back in October 2023 they sent me a roof notice, then in May an estimate closing date for July. I made arrangements because I am moving cities. I moved to a job close to the new property, because the closing was for the month of July and I have been driving from Hialeah to Florida city since August as a professional I have never experience bigger disrespect. The quality of materials and workmanship of the home itself is poor. I was living here during construction and the workers who were all sub-contracted were so disrespectful to the residents. I would find them sleeping on my property, driving extremely fast with the heavy construction equipment, parking in driveways, stealing garden hoses, etc. Try to say something to them and they will curse you out. A certain recipe for violence. I've called Century management many times regarding the problems I've had and they just don't care. Again, arrogance. I would guarantee the approval rating in the community I live in that Century built is no higher than 2% if that much. I challenge Century management to go door to door to disprove my guarantee. In conclusion - stay away from this builder. There are better options. Update - 11-14-20 - Many homeowners in my community, Century Lakes III are having roof issues and the homes are only a year old. I am as well. I've attached 2 pictures that show examples of Century's lack of workmanship - roof tiles simply sliding out and mortar cracking all over. Century will argue that the roof passed Miami-Dade inspection. I say the inspectors are looking the other way and their pockets are getting filled. Update - 11-16-20 - My roofer found further issues that may be in violation of Miami-Dade building code so I am convinced these crooks are paying off the inspectors to pass inspections. I attached additional pictures which show the roof tiles are not attached with foam which is bad enough, but to add insult to injury, they are attached with one screw only instead of two. And as previously mentioned, some have no screws and were simply placed on the roof and slid out.
