We had been in Germany for 5 days and longed for simple, healthy bright flavors. There is nothing wrong with a traditional European breakfast, but we were ready for the food options at Taste. I selected an order of eggs and bacon, with a side salad and roll, and my wife choose to share a smoothie bowl. I admit I didn't understand what that meant, really. My first spoonful of smoothie with the layer of crunchy toppings was not only delicious, but also exactly what I needed. We should have ordered two! My only regret is that we had to move on to the rest of our trip and leave Taste behind.

You must order a meal that includes french fries or accept that you can not have any. I was rather annoyed at this seemingly illogical new rule (since January 2017). The order taker said that if the restaurant offered french fries as an (side)order most people would only order that. The order and beer staff were very monotoned, no warm greeting, no smilies, etc...on a positive note the beer was nice and cold.
