I'm trying to be helpful here all staff reflect your business. If out on the floor with below basic info, its a deffo minus for your business and frustrating to your customers, I dont' know, I'll go and ask someone elseoh they are busy can yo come backetc, IS NOT HELPFUL! Also, shop floor prices do not reflect the web price so you have to be on the ball to get the best prices in store! On the whole for convinience from all 3 main Leeds camera shops when compared, (and for comparison prices on the internet), Jessops quite often are cheaper they are cheaper butyou have to know what you are buying as not all technical knowledge is forthcoming from several staff memebrs for compatablity to kit you may alteady have. Ordering products in to the store is frustrating from 2 main points 1. Not phoning you when they promise too (VERY ANNOYING) TO GIVE YOU DEFINATE DELIVERY DATES OR INFO. 2. When Jessops staff do call you they tell you it should be in and when you turn up no one knows where the product is and the system they are using showing warehouse info conflicts to what you are told.Not good!! On a plus point, starting off with the camera they were VERY HELPFUL helping me navigate around the camera on many occassions with revisits so thanks very much! Will I continue to use Jessops? Yes, but if not on the shelf, I just wont bother.

I'm not a photographer but I have been known to dabble in the past and I was truly misty eyed to find this place full of cameras of a wide vintage most of which needed proper film (for you youngsters that's a sort of light sensitive material that makes magic pictures). I was transported back to my boyhood but not so sentimental that I failed to investigate the possibility of selling some of my cameras (yes they do buy them). I actually went in with a query about a digital camera and the chap offered to take a look free of charge before giving me honest advice which, incidentally, meant no profit for business for himself. The sitting itself went great the photographer was lovely and very patient with my little boy she had loads of fab idea which was helpful as we didn't have a clue what we wanted. A week later we went back for our viewing of all the photographs we'd had taken. It was really relaxed and I had been concerned we might get a pushy sales person but this wasn't the case at all she was lovely and helped us choose what we wanted from the photograph to the frame. I was really happy with the result that final finished photograph was ready a few weeks later. I have to say I do think the normal prices are quite pricey a framed 7x5 was £55 but if your looking for something really special they have payment plans and it will be something you can treasure forever. OK, so a quick update. This place isn't a Kodak shop any more, but that doesn't mean it isn't a…read moredamn cool little photo shop. Popped in with no less than eight films, from yonks ago, and asked about development prices. He said usually they would cost about £7 each for development and to be put on a disc (no prints) but in this instance he did all eight for a fiver! I thought it was a grand deal, as some of these pictures were ancient and mightn't have developed at all, so I was pretty chuffed. Got them back today, and although there's the standard disappointment in my own photography skills, the whole process was swift and grand. If you ever nip in, no matter what the requirements, the chap in here is sure to do you a cheeky deal. Well worth checking out, and I'm sure he'd have plenty of handy advice should you require it.

On arriving home, I checked the receipt of goods ticket with both amounts totalling £0.00. I can only assume that the store have decided that I don't deserve the money for the items I sold. Should have sold on eBay. EDIT: further to the response from Cex. Both phones were immediately priced with the HTC U11 being labelled at £82.00 and put straight on the shelf for sale. I was told I would receive £46.50 for both phones. £5.00 was deducted per phone to add a charging lead. As I haven't received a penny for the phones, technically I still own them. I'll let any reader of this review draw their own conclusions re the ramifications of such actions.
