I am a melanoma survior, have 2 rare immune deficiencys, and a few other health challenges. He was soft spoken and was able to decipher my speedy explanations. I have gotten so use to docs that only give 5 minutes and dont really care. Felt like i was wasting my time and money. In the last 2 years since i developed a bad rash on back, legs, and chest and arms. Awfull and ithches. Big sores they turn into. I had one dic say empitigo. Another said it was from a parasite from food. I wont go into all of the docs but none were correct and i suffered. Dr Rachel was going to be my last effort and i was going back overseas to get disgnosed. He knows melanoma inside out as do I. He knew what this rash was immediately. And did a biopsy to make sure. Hes brilliant! So knowledgeable on each issue i mentioned. Calm and confident, and treated me with utmost respect. I am so happy i found him and took a chance. It was a 4 hour drive to get there. Just amazing. His nurse was very kind and compassionate too. I feel blessed.

While I was strolling down Main St. after having a beer, I was feeling very relaxed. So I was…read morecaught off guard by a woman in the doorway of "Infinity Cosmetics", hawking samples of anti-aging eye creams. I usually blow-off the door hawkers, but I politely stopped and listened. I let her to talk me into sampling the eye-tightening cream. I thought, "Why not pamper myself today?" Another employee, a man, who is a FAST talker, applied the tightening cream under my eyes while talking very fast and going for the "hard sell". The cream was $300.00 a tube and honestly, it didn't do a thing for me. So why did I buy it? Because I wanted to believe that it worked, and because he was unrelenting. I told him that I had a face and neck lift and he replied, "I can tell!" This felt like an insult, and it seemed as if he was shaming me for going under the knife when I could have just been using their products (Venuar) instead. While this was all happening, I was trying to look up any reviews regarding their business, but the wifi wasn't cooperating. The entire time that I was trying to do a search on my phone, he kept telling me to stop looking on my phone! RED FLAG, but I was feeling overwhelmed and frustrated at this point. After the eye tightening demonstration, he told me that he wanted to give me a free demonstration of an amazing device that will guarantee that I'll "never need another facelift". (Eye-roll). Yup, I'm the fool that followed his female assistant to the back of the store to a windowless room with the door shut. She asked me if I'd like a drink and offered me wine. I know better, but accepted a glass. Hey it was free! Then he comes back into the room and shows me their red light wand that has the seal of approval from NASA (??)(Eye-roll again). He massages it on my face for fifteen minutes and declares that I should see a difference in that one sitting. I DID NOT. Then he showed me all of the Before and After photos of the women who used the device for three months....HUGE DIFFERENCE in each photo. He even told me that his mother had one and loved it. Then he told me that she had died of cancer recently. Maybe that was true, but I feel like he was playing on my empathy. He told me that he was Gay, (so? I don't care, I have many Gay friends). Then he mentioned that he was Jewish and said, "You've probably never met a Jewish person before." (HUH? I have a lot of Jewish friends). I'm not sure why he shared all of that with me but in retrospect, I think he was trying to be "human" and really wanted me to trust him so that he could sell that damned device to me. WHICH HE DID. I should add that he threw in for free, two of each of their Venuar skincare products. He also shipped it all for free. Their product is extremely expensive, and I'm not sure why. I agreed to the free product not even knowing if my sensitive skin would be reactive to it or not. Some of it is nice, but a few of the products aggravated my acne (I'm 66 years old). I believe that their products are all over-priced, so it wasn't that great of a deal to get all the product for free. He was trying to make it sound like I was getting such a great deal. Anything to sell the Medic Tech device! Afterwards, I was kicking myself for purchasing the Medi Tech device as soon as I left the store. It took me an entire YEAR to pay it off by using CARE CREDIT. The device is no better than other wands that you'll find online. They package it in a big black carrying case with a handle to make it look very expensive. I used it 3-4 times a week religiously for seven months and didn't notice any changes in my skin. I still have the same lines and if anything, I have some new sagging under my chin. It's been about nine months since I purchased the device and it's already breaking down. The light shuts off while in use, and this is after being fully charged. The on/off button isn't working properly anymore. I've been told that I have a lifetime warranty, I suppose I'll ask for a new one but I don't trust these people. I'm so angry with myself for letting my guard down because I know better than this! It's so easy to fall for scams while on vacation. I'll close here by revealing the price of the Medic Tech device: $8,000.00 (!!!!) I'm not sure if I'll ever forgive myself for falling for this. Maybe this review will help some other people to avoid this store in Fredericksburg, Texas. IF YOU SEE THE STORE KEEP WALKING!!!

I purchased the products with the understanding I would receive replacement creams, cleanser,…read moremoisturizer, etc. for free for the first twelve months after my initial purchase. I text one more time to make sure he had my address. NO Response. Buyers beware.

Flying Cow is a skincare shop with products made from tallow. The owner struggled with skin care…read moreand decided to try tallow as a last resort. She had so much success that she started to small batch it at farmers markets. Now she has a store in Midland and opened the Fredericksburg location in 2020. I don't know how I hadn't seen her shop until now! I zeroed in on the hand cream because as a nurse I have tried everything for dry hands (working hands, Burt's bees salve, CeraVe) but still suffer. Instead of sitting on top of the skin the tallow actually absorbs into the skin and protects from over washing. There are so many different products and scents for any skin issue. They also have unscented for sensitive skin. The staff are super helpful and can guide you in the right direction.

A friend from Midland alerted me to this place, as this is their second location. Really cute shop…read moreinside, wish I had taken some photos. Beauty products and some textiles/ bags. All the products have tallow and essential oils. I appreciated the explanations and uses for each product, plus the real life before and after photos. I have trouble with adult acne and have yet to find a lotion that doesn't make me break out. I also have extraordinarily dry and sensitive skin, and can even get eczema from the wrong product. So I thought WTH I'll try this blemish balm. Prices seemed reasonable, especially if they work. Been using a week and haven't broken out yet! I'll update if I get negative results in the future. I've always really liked tea tree oil so I'm happy so far. I don't subscribe to the "essential oil lifestyle" but I do appreciate the smells and uses for some. I also like using more natural products, AS long as they work as well as or better than non-natural. (sorry!) The biggest stand out to me was the chap stick. I've had such dry lips my whole life I've given up even buying chap stick and just lived. Again, thought WTH I'll try this chap stick. Listen. If I use this a few times a day it keeps them from cracking and peeling. This is sorcery. Oh, WTH is tallow? Magic, apparently.
