He said that he replaced a diamond in the ring also because he "didn't like one of the stones". He did not call to get authorization, because "he was too busy". He said he would keep the ring if we did not pay the additional fees. The added stone is sits crooked, it is not centered in the original ring, the gold used to solder the new girdle into the ring bleeds between the original diamonds and the underside of the girdle has not been cleaned up. VERY DISSATISFIED!

When I went back to get it, I was surprised to find that the diamond had been removed and replaced with another stone that did not even fit correctly. It was heartbreaking and there was nothing I could do about it, as they said they had sent it out to be done. I do not recommend ever doing business with them. It must have been quite a valuable stone, because it was gone. I could not prove it, I had not taken a photo of it. So disappointing...It is a riddle to me how they stay in business!

When I was in college, I was too poor to shop here. So, while on vacation this week I made it my…read moremission to shop at Rediscoveries and drop some cash. It's better than I remember it. I pulled out a 50's novelty border print poodle skirt that I have been drooling over on ebay for ages and immediately felt like the happiest vintage hunting lady ever when I saw it was only $50. The selection of sizes and decades is impressive. Most of the pieces are in pristine condition. And don't get me started on the fabric! Novelty cottons and rayons galore! I ended up with a yard of vintage unicorn fabric. UNICORNS!!!!!!!!! Prices are reasonable on fabric too. But don't expect to get a deal. I also got a great deal on a beautiful 50s dress that had a little damage. The owner even gave me some wonderful suggestions for ways I could alter it around the damage and make it even more fabulous. There are also lots of antiques, jewelry, purses and BARBIES! I love ogling at the dolls. There are some deals at Rediscoveries. Definitely worth checking out. Brian is well versed and really knows his vintage.
