Loved my child's teacher but administration was extremely rude, unprofessional, and belittling. When I asked for clarification on a late fee ($235 for a single day When an entire week is only $200) I was told, "I don't work for you." When I voiced concern that their team was unprofessional I was told a few hours later that my child could no longer attend. Absolutely do not recommend if you need consistency land clear communication because the office staff do not provide that. read more

We moved to Fort Smith for a new project and my son was suddenly exposed to a completely new environment, food , language and culture. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. His teacher Ms Teresa helped my son settle down in no time. He loved school and all his friends. The director of the school Sherry is extremely approachable and a very loving n caring person herself. We have now since moved to another location and another state but my son still misses his friends and teacher at Cavanaugh. Good Luck u guys You are doing a great job We miss you read more

We are so pleased with the service we received from Westark Plumbing…read more We started the morning with both toilets and sinks backing up all at once. We contacted Robyn at Westark who immediately dispatched Josh to us. He quickly diagnosed the problem as our old Orangeburg sewer line having collapsed. He showed us the broken pieces to verify what had happened. Utilities were promptly contacted and came to mark the lines. The next day a backhoe arrived to dig up the old collapsed line along with a crew of Caleb, Joseph, Winston, Jared and Brad (I hope I didn't miss anyone). They repaired all lines under the house and front yard. We never hear cussing or complaining from anyone. By the end of the day we had our sewer system back. Great job to everyone who helped! Union Christian Academy

What did we think about year 1 at Union!?!?!…read more After surviving another year of elementary school for two kids (our first year at this school) I would say we were overall very pleased. 1. Safety First! They have a tremendous school resource officer program with at least two officers on campus - they use screening and detection methods for entrance to school - the campus is well monitored with cameras and closed access points - they are friendly but also watch closely and monitor the facilities and surroundings. 2. Academics are sound - it is a Christian School, so the biblical and Christian education aspect is well represented. They do a great job of staying "mainline" to the general tenets of Christian faith that are well received and practiced by most Protestant believers and don't get off the platform in funky/argumentative/uncomfortable doctrinal ways. They seem to create their own curriculum instead of using Abeka or other programs, which is fine, though sometimes this results in study materials and resources that are not always polished in appearance. 3. The classroom academics seem sound and the teachers are easy to work with. The school uses a variety of curriculum resources by subject and the school uses an app for parent/teacher/school communication and grading, etc. it all works well and is convenient - there are some bugs from time to time but nothing major or upsetting - more like preferences or quirks of the software. 4. School Activities - Students are offered lots of options - sports and athletics which compete in the Arkansas Activities Assn class AA. They offer music and theater and art, as well as academic competition style clubs and groups. We've been very pleased - especially for the variety at a smaller sized school. 5. They have small class sizes of about 15 kids per elementary class (a plus for our perspective); they have a nice playground area and nice classroom spaces; they offer a playground; they have a nice cafeteria and meal service offered each week. They also have an after school program and a summer program. We look forward to continuing education here and recommend the school without reservation.
