I went to the rue Chomel store. This place is fantastic! Their shoes and boots are of the highest quality. Many of their designs are quite distinctive...in a good way. In particular the boots are great. Three branches around town. read more

I have found the best shoe store in Paris. I repeat, I have found the best shoe store in Paris!…read moreIt's almost too good to be true, but it's not, since I have the boots on my feet to prove it! Ok, imagine a shop that sells a tight-selection of super stylish, comfortable shoes, from boots and strappy heels to slip on flats and chunky pumps at affordable prices. Already, I've got you hooked right? Now add to that the fact that all of the shoes are made in Paris in an atelier in the 11th. Not only is that impressive, but so outrageously rare. Aside from super exclusive artisans creating custom shoes that cost a month's rent, it's impossible to find locally-made shoes at real-people prices. Now, as if that weren't enough, get ready for the icing on the cake. ALL of the models can be customized for no extra fee at all. So, if you love that pair of peep-toe pumps but want them in emerald green in stead of pink, Taher Mardini can make that happen for you. I took advantage of the sales and bought myself the perfect pair of black boots at 30% off the ticket price. They are amazingly beautiful and super comfortable and cost 1/4 of the price of a pair of designer boots made who knows where in the world. I'm totally eying a pair of ankle books that I plan on ordering in one of the 50 or so different colors that you could choose from. Never owned a pair of red boots and I think that I totally need that experience in my life. Oh, I forgot to mention that they'll also recreate a pair of your favorite beat up shoes for you too! How insane is that?! Thanks to Taher Mardini we can now make all of our shoe fantasies come true!

I haven't worn the shoes yet but they felt great in the store. If you buy two pairs, you get a discount on the second pair. The store has other things other than shoes but I focused on just getting the sneakers. Also the service was very good and the store associates were very nice and also spoke English which was helpful.

Diane is a delightful shopkeeper who helps you find the perfect shoe. These shoes are a work of art. Added to the inventory, is a line of shoes with custom designs painted by artist Sauver Carlus. I recommend this shop to any woman that wants an extraordinary pair of shoes that will make her feel like she stepped out of a painting from the Belle Époque. I'll be back next year for another pair. Merci beaucoup Diane, Sylvia & Sauver for creating joy for lovers of shoes thatske us feel féminine and desired.

Every time I visit Paris, I have to stop by this shop. They have so many stores all over in Europe,…read morebut not in the US. They have cute clothes. They are more like Charlotte Russe but an upgraded version. The design is unique and very cute, and not too expensive at all. I don't really care much about their purses and other small items like belts, hats, and stuff. Nothing is special about these items, but clothes are cute. I am hoping that they will come to the US.

Galleries Lafayette is a department store on steroids and a shopper's paradise, offering mid-range…read moreand higher end products. Their merchandise is extremely diverse, comprising just about anything you want across three buildings. The main building, where you'll find women's fashions, accessories, cosmetics, eyeglasses (including an optometrist), sportswear, children's wear, is topped with a must-see art glass dome, complete with a glass cat walk (maybe on the 4th floor?) that enables up close viewing of the dome from the inside. There are restaurants, rest rooms, and sweets shops in this building, too. Menswear has a building all to itself, as does the food court. Be careful here. There are so many delicious and appetizing foods offered in the food court building that you'll be tempted to overstuff. It would be just too easy to spend an entire day shopping at Galleries Lafayette.

At the entrance all the well known brands for bags and clothing. The area for Moynart Labubu was doing brisk business. A Labubu bag I looked at was 2300 euros!!! Soooo many stuff here. We went to the 6th floor to get souvenirs, cookies, and gifts to bring home. Our suitcases will be packed full. Great service, friendly staff. No pictures, the store was too crowded and I didn't want to get in trouble for taking pictures with no permission.
