He even noticed our dog was very attentive to us so he allowed her to accompany us on the trail. It was the first time she was 'off leash' for any period of time and she had as much fun as we did. The horses were tame and responsive to every pull. Overall, it could not have been better! I thank Joe for his patience and guidance and look forward to a repeat visit the next time we are anywhere near Jewett. Make this a priority stop for a great time.

Nancy decided to accommodate us and make room to take us on the Monday morning. It didn't feel like she only cared about just taking our money she does care about providing us with the best service and experience. Furthermore, the scenery from the mountain top was stunning, and I couldn't take my eyes off it. The horses were also exceptionally well-mannered. Our tour guide, Kim, patiently and individually instructed each of us on how to handle the horses. Kim also dedicated her time to arrange us for a memorable family photo at a picturesque spot. Without a doubt, this has been my most exceptional experience to date. I highly recommend it!

There was no phone number listed on the website or in the emails, so we had no way to contact anyone to figure out what was going on. Four hours later, we received an email claiming they had previously emailed us (we never received anything) and that there had been an emergency with the trainer. While emergencies happen, the response didn't feel sincere, and the complete lack of communication in the moment was frustrating. This was supposed to be a highlight of our trip, but instead, it was a huge letdown. Given the positive reviews, we expected much better. If you're considering booking here, be warned--there seems to be a serious lack of reliability and customer service. We won't be trying again.

I had gone horseback riding once over the summer, but I am definitely a newbie and Linda guided us on what to do (ex: lean back when going downhill and lean forward when going uphill). I love that we got to walk AND trot and cross streams. My horse Sarge was a former NYPD horse and he was very good and well behaved (although he was quick and ate some grass before I could stop him while on the trail).
