I couldn't resist the bright colors of the macaroons, and I haven't eaten all day. I saw the prettiest cross stitched framed items by Emily Reedstrom. My favorite was "Babes Supporting Babes" and "Read More Books". I felt grateful and lucky to have this festive and colorful event as my first experience in Copper Petal. My daughter came home explaining it to me and cried so much. She said you were ripping through her hair all over. Combing really hard and getting to tangles and tearing through them, she said last time you did not do that. Also when you want to use thinning shears you should ask if that's ok. A few times back we told you we do not like that but I'm sure you just forgot. She just went through a low iron and a lot of hair loss from it and you used thinning shears everywhere. Her ponytail is very thin now. The cut is pretty but the sides need adjustment. Her curtain bangs are not where she asked but it's ok. You are a very good stylist, but the only thing I can imagine was you not feeling well and was in a rush. Or you used new combs and different detangling conditioner. Please do not frown upon us for being upset. We want to return to your salon and you may not want us as your client because you fear we will be upset but I know there is no other person that has ever given my family such beautiful haircuts before. I do not want to lose that over one bad experience." She did not apologize and said we can come back and she would check her work. She said no one told her not to use thinning shears but she never asked and my 20 year old daughter was there. She never asked. Her hair was 60% thinner to the point my daughter was extremely upset. And the sides were choppy on one side and good on other. She made me an appointment for 6 months from the date. We chose not to get anything fixed and just wait the 6 months. We had a text appointment confirmation. Two days before I called to confirm and she said she did not want to do our hair because we make her nervous. That's ok, it was a lot of complaining, we were upset. But why give us an appointment and cancel last minute? Our appointment was set, she waited 6 months to cancel. Also earlier I mentioned her possibly not feeling well because she canceled on us previously and rescheduled three times. I called back to complain and she said she trained the manager, implying it would go nowhere. If you are not happy they smile and defend themselves and do nothin. So if you like that kind of stuff go see her.

Honestly, if you shop online, you better be sure you're keeping what you buy because returning or exchanging something is unnecessarily difficult. Even though they state a 14-day return policy, you can't simply take your item back to the store--even if it's only been one day since pickup. You have to email, wait for approval, and sometimes make phone calls just to arrange a basic return or exchange. If it happens to be the weekend, good luck, because there's no one available to handle it. I love their merchandise, but the return process makes me think twice about ordering online again. Great clothes, terrible return and exchange experience.
