The other mothers are giving great reviews because they don't know any different. Their kids may have grown and become better dancers, but they don't know how good they could really be. These reviews are only here because the owner of the studio sent an email asking us to review it. There is a reason why only 2 people other than me ended up actually putting a review here.

The teachers and instructors that I have interacted with seem young, but knowledgeable and passionate about dancing. They also seem to be really well the kids. My biggest complaint is the "waiting room," or lack thereof. Parents aren't allowed to sit in on classes (except specific times when a recital is coming up or something) but there is not enough space or seating to accomadate everyone. We usually wait in the car. Also, the waiting room is always blistering hot. But so far, I am satisfied with the service and will continue to take my stepdaughter.

My daughter attended MelRoes for 5 years. She loved everything about dance and we loved seeing her…read morehappy to go each week, steadily we increased her classes each year. Once Covid happened our daughter participated in the online class videos and chats with her dance class. Around June, the studio decided to hold in person classes and we were hesitant. We had a brand new baby at home, so we decided our daughter would not go back for the season, therefore wouldn't be participating in recital. We made this tough choice because we didn't feel comfortable with taking the risk of exposure with a 2 month old. We informed MelRoes of our decision and we're told they would contact us to pick up recital items that we paid for once they came in. However, this DID NOT HAPPEN!!! After each attempt to collect the 3 recital costumes, tights and accessories I purchased I was given excuse after excuse as to why I could not get the items I purchased. Week after week I would see social media posts about costumes, recital costumes on friends of ours still in dance, posts about recital pictures etc. When I would reach out, ANOTHER excuse that my child's costumes weren't ready. Recital has since come and gone, STILL NO COSTUMES, TIGHTS, or ACCESSORIES. Recently posts were made on social media that brand new costumes were donated to charity and I wonder, "were those my child's?" I have been asking for what I purchased for OVER 5 MONTHS, still no costumes and what's worse, now, there is no response to my requests to make this right and give me what I purchased. The most disheartening part of this is my daughter had to suffer, she deserves her dance costumes, even though our family decided to end our 2020 dance season early due to a PANDEMIC, she should not be punished!! Moral of the review, think long and hard before sending your child to a studio that refuses to right their wrongs.

They have all sorts of classes from ballet, instrument, creative movement, acting, musical theater and improv. They have classes for all ages. Semesters are spring and fall with extra camps over spring and summer breaks. The teachers are fun but are there to teach.
