After a few weeks past, I didn't hear back from him and then I called the office. The receptionist, who picked up my call, sounded clueless. She asked me to spell my name at least 5 times and I felt that she was very annoyed with my long last name. I asked her to let Leon know to reply my call or email. However, I never got the response. A week later, I decided to switch the attorney and then finally I heard back from Leon. And he added some statements in the drafted settlement document from the opponent attorney, which didn't apply anymore. It costed me almost $1000. I never received my divorce papers yet she insists she sent them. When I told her they never arrived, she had the nerve to suggest my ex may have taken and hidden them. ?? Obviously, if they were sent, they weren't sent certified -- which you would think you would do sending something so important through the mail. And she never resent what she claims she sent anyway.
