We opted to go with a few slices of cheese and a baguette, and it was so delicious. There is an overwhelming selection of cheese, and we really had no idea where to start selecting cheese to buy. The woman behind the counter picked two cheeses for us, a cow's milk and a sheep's milk cheese. Both were great and we finished them while walking around Brussels. Our lunch was a little pricey, but totally worth it, along with experience of buying local cheese in a lovely setting.

We called her bluff...we could smell her bs...it is her shop and she can treat her customers however she chooses.... Her business card states, "Making your belly happy is our mission." If she had a pleasant and honest demeanor and was aware of cultural differences, I believe she would find it translates to larger sales, happy customers, and repeat business no matter what are her customers' origins...just sayin'!! I ordered the basic powdered sugar waffle, liege style. My husband ordered the Belgian style waffle which was topped with macerated strawberries and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Again, the waffle and strawberries weren't warm so it was like eating a dry stale cold waffle with cold strawberries and a scoop of ice cream. Disappointing to say the least. I'd pass on this place and stick with the street vendors where you can watch them make it in front of your eyes and served warm.
