You have to see this for your self to understand how beautiful it really is. We paid the $9 Euro fee to enter and it was well worth the price. Everywhere you look there is splendid grandeur. Who ever said that a Cathedral was a dump? yea nobody. Almost pointless to review it cause anyone would just say "stunning". which it is. Some selected nights you can pay to go up to the roof. And it's awesome up there. You can enter the Cathedral's ground floor for 5 euros. I live here so I never pay, I sneak in during a bank holiday when it's open to the public. But what is great about this Cathedral.. is that it is unfinished. And had it been finished, America may not have existed. From Wikipedia: The south tower remains unfinished. A plaque at the base of the tower states that funds raised by the parish to finish it were used instead to help those British colonies which became the United States to gain their independence from Great Britain. So they used the money that was set aside to finish the Cathedral and gave it to help America fight the British. And it's still unfinished today. read more

This imposing cathedral is located right next to our AC hotel. It's very well maintained. On this sunny bright day we walked by it several times admiring its impressive architectural structure. We did not go in since we had seen enough church interiors in Seville. With limited time to cover all the major sights in Malaga in an afternoon before going on to Ronda, Granada and Marbella and Picasso and Alcazaba beckoning, we reluctantly passed on touring the inside of this majestic cathedral. read more

Truly stunning cathedral, both inside and out. The interior is incredible with amazing ceilings and side chapels. There is a small charge to get in (€5) but more than worth it. A definite highlight of a stay in Malaga. read more

Probably the biggest church I've ever been inside. It's worth the euros to see this sort of grandeur. The stained glass is beautiful but very high up so almost impossible to fully view. read more
