I've already told two of my neighbors to reach out to Midtown Stucco if they need any stucco work done and I'll gladly recommend them to anyone else in the future.

We received 4-5 bids for repairs, our main concern being whether there was wood rot and water damage to the main structure. We ended up going with Eliseo at Midtown Stucco and I'm so glad we did. We were very pleased with the quality of his work and his experience. Eliseo was super easy to work with and answered all our questions. In our case, there was no significant water damage beneath the stucco, and he did an outstanding job matching up our old and new stucco. The hardest part for us was understanding how long it would take for our job to be complete and being patient for the whole process to be finished! It was mid-fall when we were ready to start (we also had our house repainted first), and we did have to wait a few extra weeks until the temps were good and no rain/snow in the forecast. Eliseo was great about keeping in touch via text message. It took about two days to remove and replace the stucco, and then a week to set before painting. Took off a star because he didn't always actually show up at the time he said he would, but in the general time frame. Also, he did not paint the trim, just the body, left a little bit of trash afterward, and got some paint on the garage door. We don't mind doing the trim work and the garage door clean up as it's common, but just pointing it out. I will definitely call Eliseo if we ever need stucco repaired again and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs a quality stucco repair at a reasonable price! Tip: be patient with the process, especially if you are depending on the weather.

I took bids for a complete paint job and wood rot repair on my house. Brogan had what seemed to be…read morea reasonable bid, so I planned to give them the job pending meeting at the house in person. The bid was for $4,275.00. When I met with Ed Brogan at the house, the first thing he said was, "I went to the wrong house." I thought he was explaining why he was several minutes late for our meeting. But no. He siad, "I actually went to the wrong address when I was quoting your job," on a house one block over. I asked what that meant to my project. He said, "Well, I'm done. I can't do your house for less than $7,500.00." So he wanted $3,225 more than he quoted. I asked him if he was willing to reduce his $7,500 bid since it was his mistake. He got angry at just the question. I told him I had quoted much work in my career, and if I underbid or missed something, I took the hit and did the project for what I quoted. It was like he couldn't understand what I was saying. He started shaking his head. I said, "I think doing the job at or near what you quoted is the honorable thing to do." His response was to turn his back on me and start walking away. I said, "excuse me," and he turned back, only to say, remarkably, "I'm nice and you're not nice." What? Now he's going to insult me? Ed Brogan is not an honorable person, and in fact sent off all of the vibes of a bait-and-switch con man. Who drives to the wrong address when you have GPS? Who doesn't stand behind their quote? Who won't even try to find a middle ground? Deal with Brogan's Home Painting at your great peril. You are guranteed an unpleasant experience, and with his attitude about customers, who knows what kind of job they will do. The experience was so unpleasant that I wish I could give Brogan a minus rating. It's a company owned by a dishonest person. BTW, I had a witness to this whole conversation.

Mike showed up late (at 9:02) and unfortunately at a time when an incoming phone call came in from my office. I invited him in as I finished a phone call, and Mike waited no more than 30 seconds, walked out the front door without saying a word, and drove off. I called the office to inquire about what happened, and they "couldn't believe" this would happen. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere given my extremely brief interaction.

We took a bit of a chance and chose them based on their stellar reputation and my excellent first impression during the initial estimate. I'm glad we made the choice we did. I heartily recommend their services. The staff are exceptionally helpful and communicate plan and changes therein as they develop. You will always be kept abreast of progress, hitches in the plan, possible improvements to your home, and other issues. Everyone I encountered was very friendly and easy to work with. I admit that I was a particularly difficult customer, for a variety of reasons, but Crestwood took all the flak I and my realtor could throw at them in stride. They were always professional and worked hard to make sure I was satisfied with progress and the results. I am certainly very happy with the work Crestwood Painting did. They scraped the house well and painted fairly quickly, despite being repeatedly delayed by rain. As they worked, they were very clean and kept their tools organized when not at the house. They truly go above and beyond to make sure you're happy with the work they've done, and they will fix anything (within reason, obviously) that you have a problem with immediately and without question. After the work is all done, they follow up regularly in case you've found some aspects of the job you're unhappy with. That said, don't plan on having to chase them to fix anything. They do fantastic work. Our home looks amazing. Overall, Crestwood Painting is the outfit to contact if you want your painting done right. If you want a quick, cheap job, you're looking in the wrong place. If it's lasting quality, professionalism, and general excellence you're after, give them a call. You'll be happy you did.
