Felt as though I was a less than patient. As soon as Faith realized I was a member of the LBGTQI+ community she all but shut down. I had to prompt her to offer the tests I needed. She gave me the feeling she was trying to rush me out of her office, like she thought I would give her gay cooties. read more

While I appreciate some of the staff, Charlie & Pam made it hard for me. Both of them made me feel like I was being more a burden to them. A lot of patients have been through a lot and need people who will be patient, gentle and understanding. Faith Klaus was excellent but I had a much different experience with some of the others. read more

We are so fortunate to have Dr Garnaas and her team here in the northstate. I was able to get a nerve conduction study done very quickly, and it was almost a pleasant experience in the hands of Don Garnaas. His kindness and sense of humor eased the physical discomfort of the test. Once the testing was complete, Dr Garnaas quickly came up with a potential diagnosis and started treatment right away. She has all of the local contacts for the best home health, physical therapy, occupational therapy and any other needs that I have. This would not work as smoothly with an out of the area physician. Even more important than her northstate location is Dr Garnaas's extreme competence and compassion. It's a relief to be in such capable hands. Although I have a serious and rare neurological condition, it's been somewhat easier to deal with because everyone that I have encountered in the office shares the same caring attitude toward patients. This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. My son needed to see a neurologist only since the Mercy ER doctor did a poor job for evaluation after he was hit in the face with a table top at work and the DMV took his license just because the ER doctor sent in a form without a proper evaluation. By the way the DMV does not care what is in the form, they will take your license away just because a doctor submits the form, they don't evaluate the forms. My sons was then referred to this place and then they tell my wife he doesn't meet the need to be seen. So we then get another appointment with his primary doctors office to get the DMV paperwork signed off before the DMV deadline. At this visit they say that Catalyst hasn't made a decision to see him or not. This is not what my wife was told by a representative at Catalyst. This process is ridiculous. My son supposedly witnessed his own siezures for several minutes at a time during the original incident and then went to the ER. Nothing on the CT scan showed this, no witnesses seen a seizure occur, and the Doctor never fully evaluated my son to ask what had happened, he did a CT scan, did lab work, said everything looked good and sent in the DMV papers. These doctors these days don't even provide care, they follow a book script and push paper. Finding a good quality doctor now days is exteremly difficult and trying to navigate the process is even worse. This kid busted his but to graduate a year early form high school, is working a full time job and going to college. This is a set back for his mindset as a 17 year old. He is frustrated just as much since he never actually had a seizure in the first place. So with this being said my wife went back in to talk to someone at Catalyst after the doctor visit and they state he has to start the process over to possibly be evaluated by their office and it could take up to 8 weeks to be seen. Really 8 weeks, what a joke. Also to note, their customer service skills are horrible. read more

i have been waiting over 3 months to get in to find out why I pass out and get light headed. Ive been tested for Vertigo and that was negative. They called me 1 time to say they were waiting for medical records. Never heard from them again. Poor Poor service. read more

Horrible service. They lie to you to get you in the building. While you are waiting for your appointment, you can hear their front staff talking about another patient complaints about payment. After you have waited awhile you get called back to an office to get a ten minute consultation, then when you are leaving they surprise you with a ridiculous over price payment. if I could give no stars I would. read more

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Garnaas and her staff. Everyone I came in contact with were so friendly and professional; it really helped decrease the stress I was feeling coming into the office. My first visit was amazing; I was not expecting such a careful and complete exam. When Dr. Garnaas came in, she acted like she had all day to speak with me about my concerns, when I KNEW she had a thousand demands on her time. Even checking out of the office I was made to feel like part of their family instead of just another patient. Dr. Garnaas has diagnosed my condition where 2 years of visiting other specialists has not. She has literally added years to my life. I can not thank them enough. read more

I am so pleased with the care I have had at Catalyst. The doctors, nurses and all of the staff here are skilled, accessible and sincerely care about me and my well being. I am thankful for the speedy replies to phone calls - the nurses are patient and reassuring. In person care from the nurses is also stellar. Dr. Garnaas is amazing - so skilled and kind. Dr. Servioli's focus is 100% on the patient. I have complete faith in their abilities and am grateful to have seen both doctors. My nerve conduction study, though by nature is physically a bit unpleasant, was made enjoyable by Don Garnaas. The facility is clean, beautiful and easy to find. I do not need long term care at this point, but if that changes, I will be returning. Merci! read more

Th medical assistant was very nice. Dr. Servioli was not. She kept me waiting in a freezing cold room for an hour. The medical assistant had opened the door to let the air circulate and eventually I saw the doctor stroll by. She looked up at me and said "You're still here?" What! Then she proceeded to act like I didn't need to be there and I was a bother. Never again. I've been a patient of theirs for about 2 years and the doctor has always been very curt but this was really insulting. read more

Took my son here and and they couldn't give us answers for ANYTHING so they referred us to UC Davis. Worst neurologist absolutely ever!! I had to call repeatedly to get lab results and to find out about referrals!! My son was having seizures and I told them it was getting worse to the point he was losing his jobs!! They could care less!! They sent a standard referral and my kid is passing out everyday!! That's some BS!! If it was her kid she'd have them there in a heartbeat!! WORST PLACE EVER!!! read more

I am so happy and beyond grateful to have finally found my wonderful most helpful treatment becoming a patient with Catalyst's supreme team of answers and treatments and solutions I have been seeking for 4 long years of suffering through chronic and very painful migraines. I look forward to seeing Faith each visit and always noticing the quality of each team member from front desk, and intake till end of visit with care provider I am treated like I matter. They are rock star service and perfect example of professional care all around and leaders which create the ultimate experience which is my gift of good vibes. Lee B. When I first walked in I felt relaxed and not nervous. The staff was very warm and friendly. I was seen by Dr. Garnass for several troubles I have. She was very attentive and listened to all I had to say and that was plenty. She explained to me, in language that I understood, and prescribed the care that made my life easier. I also was seen by Don Garnass who tested the nerve ending in my lower extremities. He was great! Had a sense of humor and explained each step of the process. This was one of the times going to a doctors appointment and felt better because I knew what my problems were and that the treatment of care I received from Don and Dr. Garnass made my daily life more enjoyable. So far, so good! First visit was fantastic. Super caring staff, including Dr. Garnaas who took more time with me than most physicians. Very compassionate, knowledgeable and a great listener! Everything you want and need in a doctor but which seems harder and harder to find. This is especially important when you have a rare condition such as I do that can potentially create a great deal of anxiety due to its unpredictable nature. Dr. G gets this. I now won't need to go out of town as I initially thought I might to get the care I need. Highly recommended! read more
