After our initial conversation with her, we didn't expect to move forward with the home buying process so soon, but we did. I remember telling my fiancé right after we ended our conversation with Liz that I wanted her to be our agent. I truly appreciated how people centered, passionate, and incredibly knowledgeable she is about the process. She made us feel completely comfortable asking questions and helped us clearly understand what the home buying journey would look like. Liz never made us feel rushed or pressured into anything. She truly respected our pace and guided us with patience and understanding every step of the way. Since my finance and I currently live in Los Angeles, Liz took her time to tour several homes that we were interested in. All of the videos she sent to us were extremely thorough and informative which made our process easier. It felt like we were actually there although we were miles away. We really appreciate Liz for taking the time to record and share the tours with us while giving us her opinion on things that stood out to her that were concerning. This is something we would not have been able to pick up on since we were not present. Liz really listened to what we were looking for in a home and she delivered. We cannot recommend her enough! She is truly an AMAZING agent to work with. We're beyond thankful for Liz and The Porchlight Group. If we ever decide to buy another home in the future, we are absolutely going back to her! Being in Las Vegas but looking for a place in Seattle and not knowing ANYONE or where or how to even begin the process. I used YELP for what is here for...to find businesses and read reviews. I searched Realtors and started to read reviews. After reading several reviews I knew I wanted to go with a smaller vs. a bigger company (where they might hand you off to whoever or you get lost in the shuffle). SOOOOO glad I went with Liz! I really believe that things happen for a reason and people come into your life for a reason. From the first time I spoke to her she had a great energy and vibe and I knew she was going to be a hustler. I was already impressed from the get go! In the beginning I explained what my husband and I were looking for, (which I thought were pretty strange requests criteria...because this condo was going to be used for our employee, it needed to be within a certain proximity, near the airport and within our budget). Liz just rolled with it and got on it. I think it was that night or the next we were already Facetiming a property we were interested in...that's how quickly she was on it! BTW she gives great video commentary and is thorough and honest with her review of the places. Not being there and actually seeing something in person for such a large purchase is kind of scary, but it truly was a great experience that I wasn't expecting. She listened and cared about our opinions and was never pushy. So right now the market is CRAZY!! We put in about 3-4 offers starting in February and kept getting outbid by cash offers and waiving everything. Finally we found something that was perfect for us and had keys and were moving in on April 8! We got to do a little fixer upping (Liz helped with finding a contractor) and was able to pick out flooring, paint and light fixtures, to our liking, all for asking price (seller was throwing in some $). BEYOND impressed with Liz and her team! From start to finish and all throughout the process Liz always kept in touch and updated with what was going on. Almost daily emails with new listings or possible places then following up with which ones we were interested in seeing. She was ON TOP of it! Not sure how she keeps it all straight because you will feel as if you are her only client (which I know we weren't), with how dedicated and on top of it she is. She was very knowledgeable, patient, kind, generous and helpful in SO MANY WAYS! You will NOT regret choosing her and her team to buy or sell your home! Just give her a call and she will get right on it...because she can't help it and truly loves what she does, and also loves to work! lol

    Karen and Patrick Buckley are - HANDS DOWN - the best realtors you could ask for! They know…read moreeverything there is to know about buying and selling and they really get to know you during the entire process. I first met Karen when my boyfriend and I wanted to go see a house I found on Zillow. From there, she took us on many hunts for a new home. She really understood what we were looking for and worked with our price point. Prices have risen a lot recently, so we have yet to purchase a home, but in the meantime, I decided to sell my own townhome. Of course I asked Karen to be my realtor! Karen spent many, many hours talking with me in person AND on the phone, sending emails, and even texts. She was the most responsive realtor I could have hoped for and always had helpful, detailed answers for every single one of my questions. If she was unavailable at any time (which was rare!), Patrick stepped in seamlessly to assist. Karen worked with my HOA, the title company, and the buyer's agent to get all the information needed and everything always had an incredibly fast turnaround time. Karen and Patrick even did the staging for my home and it turned out AMAZING! I very nearly had second thoughts about selling the place! Karen had a professional photographer take the photos for the listing and they turned out really well. Patrick took some of the photos himself and they were excellent - he has a great eye for how to take listing photos! Karen and Patrick even did a virtual tour website and gave me a DVD with the staging photos as a keepsake. When the house was in the final closing stages, Karen and Patrick came by to collect their staging items and even helped me getting some of my heavier items into my moving truck. This was such a great help to me and I appreciated it so much. On the day of closing, Karen actually drove me to the office and was there to help walk me through all the documents before signing. It was a HUGE help and such an amazing thing for her to do. I really felt she had my back from start to finish. On top of all this, Karen and Patrick are two of the most warm and genuine people I have met. They both have a great sense of humor and extensive knowledge on every aspect of the buying and selling process. Karen's past experiences as a broker and Patrick's past experiences at Zillow make them a really well-rounded team who will give you the best real estate expertise around. In fact, I dare you to find anyone better! Karen and Patrick are the best team you could ever ask for and I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend them whether you are selling or buying. They ROCK!!

We ended up buying our dream home even though we were not the highest offer due to Karen's negotiation skills and ability to write an attractive contract. My fiancé and I were first time homebuyers. I really appreciated the time they took to educate us about the home buying process during our initial meeting. We came to the Coldwell Banker Bain office once during our home search. The receptionist was very friendly and outgoing. All in all, we had an amazing experience and would recommend Karen and Patrick to everyone :)

    I attempted to resolve problems with Tony and also his managing broker (I personally do not enjoy…read moresharing negative feedback in public spaces). However, instead of seeing improvements, I saw Tony getting very emotional and taking feedback the wrong way. I would like to ask people to be very cautious when choosing Tony as your real estate agent. The following are some examples: 1. Misinformation - On 5 Dec 22 Tony, over the email, confirmed with my that Alliance Escrow, 12515 BEL RED RD STE 102, Bellevue, WA 98005 and title alliance of Puget sound located in 33434 8th Ave S #102, Federal Way, WA 98003 are same companies. I had to personally reach out to the escrow to confirm that they are separate companies. 2. Frequent typos - On 4 Nov 22, wrong email was entered by Tony when my email address was provided to Tony over text. - On 12 Nov 22, on the offer form, my wife's name was incorrectly written when I texted Tony to let him know what her legal name is Tony's response was that I never told him that and made the following comment: "You guys are marries and have different last names?" - On 14 Nov 22, on the "inspector referral disclosure" form that was sent to me, inspector's phone number was incorrectly typed. - "Residential purchase and sale agreement" form for multiunit property was initially used and had to be corrected to a single home version later. - 4 Dec 22, wrong name listed on Home Warranty document. 3. Home Inspection 19 Nov 22, our home inspection was conducted. After the inspection was complete, my wife and I asked Tony to review the home inspection results with us. However, he was on the other side of the home the entire time. I had to call him over multiple times to view the results with us. My wife and I were expecting Tony to be proactive at providing feedback on the findings whether they should be brought up to the seller or not. As a result, my wife had to ask Tony for feedback on multiple items for his feedback later. This was disappointing especially because during my past home buying experiences, real estate agents/brokers sat down with the buyers/inspector to review the results together and provide feedback on the spot. I had to re-explain the findings to Tony since he was not with us to review the results nor look at the photos. When my wife and I made some requests about items that we want to bring up to the seller's broker, Tony's response was "those things are very small things. David, just buy a nice ladder and go up the roof yourself." Later in the evening, I asked Tony to include the roof cleaning to our request and was eventually added (seller agreed to clean the roof and they did). My wife and I were confused whether we are communicating with the buyer's agent or the seller agent at this point. 4. Cultural sensitivity On 19 Nov 22, Tony asked me where I am from. I said that my family is from Korea. Tony said that when he visited Korea decades ago, Korea did not have a sewer system and it was easy for American men to attract Korean women back in the days. I'm not sure if I find this conversation very appropriate.
