It may seem like a small stop along the highway, but it's almost like a maze. You could get lost in the impressive amount of product. But are they good flowers? YES! My Mom is a HUGE flowers fan and CONSISTENTLY disappointed wherever she went. She's only got one other place that satisfies her desire for flowers. SHE WAS IMPRESSED the moment she laid her eyes on these. I also have to commend the service. We had Sergio help us, he was funny, kind, and extremely polite. Everything you need from an employee. On top of that, he was very helpful with information in general. Not just about this place. I can't think of a more satisfying stop along a highway. Beautiful flowers, large range of options, and workers that know how to do their job. My Mom will be back, not sure about myself because I'm not into flowers. I also don't have a wife yet.

This year, we finally found Bennie's! She allowed us to make custom pre-orders in January when she was still selecting flowers. She showed us her Proven Winners catalog and had great suggestions for what would grow well together. Today we picked up our baskets and they look fabulous. I can't wait to see what they look like in August! The only disappointment was that with 11 hanging baskets in the Suburban, I only had room to take home 1 more plant. So back to Bennie's we'll go to bring home some beautiful geraniums, lavender, clematis, roses, or dozens of other annuals and perennials. Everything looked extremely healthy and vigorous. Keep in mind they are a wholesale nursery so that although they are fine with selling retail, the place is not set up like a store, so you should know what you want before going there, and if it's off season, call them first. Check their plant list and if there's something you want to get, call them and see whether they have some. Their plants are excellent and even at retail their prices are excellent also.

We visited Tsugawa's a couple years ago looking for bleeding hearts…read more They happened to have 3 or 4, we purchased 2 and to this day they grow big and beautiful every year. This last Friday we decided to go back to get two more bleeding hearts and two azaleas. Our issue is with the azaleas. The bigger azalea had the price tag. And I didn't realize that the smaller one didn't have one. The person that rang us up said they were in the same size pot, and scanned the one tag twice instead of going to check the price. We couldn't tell at the time, but after planting them today, you can clearly see by the pictures that one pot is definitely smaller. After talking about it, and remembering what plants we looked at that did have price tags, we think we were over charged by about $20.00. The price should have been either $16.99 or $19.99. We really love Tsugawa's plant quality, and will continue to buy our plants there. We just wanted to let folks know, make sure the plant you're going to buy has a price tag.

I live about 25 minutes from Bredfields so I called first to see if they have the pvc fitting I…read moreneed. I'm not sure, but I think I bought the part I'm replacing from them a few years ago. It cracked during a freeze. I asked the man who answered if they carry a 3/4 inch pvc elbow (slip to male thread) fitting. He wasn't sure and said, "I know we carry a gynormous supply of pvc fittings." I told him I live a good distance away and wanted to make sure they had the part before I drive their. He just responded, "All I know is that we carry a gynormous supply of fittings in the store." I often do shop there even though their prices are usually a little higher than in Longview. I called Lowes and Fergesons Plumbing Supply in Longview. Both stores had no problem check for the part for me. I'm headed to Longview!
