WORST place i have ever been to. wanted to charge me extra for every little detail, including how long of tips i wanted, $10 extra just to shape the nails, $12 extra for no chip (every other place only costs an extra $5), etc. didn't even cut my cuticles off so they're just hanging off; that was an extra $10 too. the acrylic is uneven and super thick. and the final look is awful. read more

Terrible!!! On the phone every time they will claim they are not busy and then you get there and it's packed. They were very aggressive taking off my acrylics and made our nails super crooked, and totally uneven with the length. Very disappointing. read more

Ami do a fantastic job on my nails!! You can book an appointment and they normal will put you in same day. They take there time to make it perfect and up too your standard! I totally recommend castle nail too everyone! read more

Horrible! Gel polish removal, strengthening "treatment" and eye brow wax. Eyebrow wax=horrible. She put wax on the strip then the strip on my eyes (idk what that does for shape?) Gel Polish removal = unbelievably AWEFUL. She soaked them then SCRAPED AND BUFFED beyond belief. Strengthening "treatment" =not even. One coat of TEKII. BUT she started putting the strengthened on top of my nail that still had random polish on it due to the horrible removal. Like a lot was on there. So she acted annoyed and took it off THEN there was literally a TON (couldn't miss it) of cotton sticking to the non-smooth filing job she did. But instead of pulling it off, she painted it back. So I have cotton under my strengthener. (I even showed her the cotton and picked some off while she was doing it. AND I walked out of there with dark dirt/polish residue under my nails. And peeling. I don't usually write reviews but I felt like I was being punked. read more

Do not go here. I would give this place zero stars if possible. I've spent so much money here weekly and this week I have made 3 visits to the nail salon because the first time around my nails chipped (and I paid for a no chip) they told me the second time around I would be charged $10 to fix it. I paid and didn't make a big deal about it. Then, a day later not only did my nails chip AGAIN, one fell off entirely. I walked back in there the next day and very nicely told him my inconvenience of an experience and the manager rudely came back and told me "well what are you doing, it's not my problem your nail fell off, if you want it fixed you are going to have to pay again" I said no thank you you have now lost my business. When we walked in, it took over 5 minutes to get greated. We asked the prices, and no one specified anything. I got a no chip done and it peeled off after 4 days. After 2 days, I had to go back to get them fixed and all they did was put another top coat on. I will never go back to Castle. read more

Customer Service is terrible. My technician was very quite and a little rude. I was getting a no chip french manicure and she seemed so bothered the whole time. I also called before I went in to see if they offered any discounts for students. The manager on the phone told me that with a student ID they offered a $5 discount. However, when I went in to get my nails done and to pay he said that they do not offer a discount and I was wrong. I only went to this salon because on the phone he said they offered the discount. The second time was not so great the girl that did my nails rushed everything leaving my nails uneven, and she grabbed my hand so hard she made my ring go into my other ringer leaving a bruise. I went to this salon for over 10 years. When they opened back up after the pandemic I went to get my full set as usual with the same person who had done my nails. The prices had gone up as well as extra charges for sanitation. I was also then charged for shaping my nails. I am licensed to do nails as well have gotten them done for years. I have never charged or been charged for shaping the nails on a full new set!! You would think after going to someone for many years that you would be treated as a valued client, but no. The owner obviously only sees $$$ When I brought this to his attention about the extra nail charge he said they charge for coffin shape.. I said you have never charged me before for this... he said yes it's 3 extra $ now.. I said well then you should of mentioned that before you did the service. He said sorry I will take it off. Dear owner, Whenever I go to a nails salon, the first thing i notice is the cleanliness of the salon. I came to your nails salon for 2 times and both times, I always have issues with how dirty the nails technician were when he was doing my nails. He is a younger technician so i do not know if he has the experiences in cleaning them but He never cleaned the tools like the cuticles cutter because every time he is done cutting my cuticles, he puts it right back in the pouch and DID NOT even clean them. That makes me believe he use dirty cuticles cutters to cut my nails and cuticles also. IT HAPPENED TWO TIMES. I will not be returning to Castle Nail Spa in the future because of this issues. If you do not change the way your technicians clean the tools then alot of customers will not return for more services. read more

I came here with a group of friends because no one else could get us all in. The service was so slow and we got started a half hour after our reservation time. I got a full dip manicure and it chipped two days after. The woman didn't take enough time to file down the dip polish so it looked horrible. Definitely will not be back. read more

BEWARE, the "offer" is not what it seems. It's just a super fast pedi they do (not spa) that they always offer, it's NOT a coupon! The lady did a great job on my pedi, but I felt totally deceived when I tried to redeem my $20 pedi and it was $30. Most business owners would apologize and then give you it for $20. Went here to cash in a gift certificate I received. I went on a Sunday with no appointment. I got a pedicure, manicure, and eyebrow wax. I liked everything. Everyone seemed very nice. I felt very comfortable. My only complaint was that everything seemed to take a really long time. I was there for two and a half hours. I was in no rush and would rather them take their time so my nails look good but it just seemed like a long time. read more

Don't get me wrong. My nails look good, and I didn't have to make small talk while getting them done. My problem was that since I wasn't chatting, I was looking around. Bad idea. This place has gone seriously downhill in the last year or so. The employees who weren't with clients were lounging around, yet the nail stations were all FILTHY. The mirror by the sinks where you wash your hands had not been cleaned in a very long time, and even the nail tools looked like they hadn't been disinfected. I won't go back any time soon-it will take weeks to get the place up to the hygienic standards that they once were and that they should be. Ick. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. Worst nail place I've ever been to. I got a regular mani for $18 (which isn't a horrible price) but the lady doing my nails (Lana) was rushing so much I had to ask her to go back and fix them three times. It was not relaxing at all one of the employees was watching a video on her phone on full volume at the nail table next to mine. One of the guy employees kept making creepy comments to me and my friends and by evening half of my nails were smudged/chipped. Such a waste of money. Highly disappointed. read more

thought it was fine at first, but i was wrong! i get pink and white nails so they're not cheap. i had 1 fungus experience in my life (different salon) and i told him to please be careful bc i don't want it to happen again. i went back the next day to ask a question bc i thought the nail was lifting. (this is how fungus starts bc water gets under there and BOOM you have a disgusting green nail). he said "it was fine" and got very defensive! he also refused to fix it and said that i shouldn't have fake nails... ok thanks dude. never again. read more

I love the pedicures.... polish stays on forever, do a great job, and have no issues....

went in on wednesday to get a fill. a nail broke two after I left the salon for literally no reason I just looked down and it was broken??? went to get it repaired, waited almost two hours after I called and they said I could come in and they'd be right with me. the fixed nail was down very quickly and sloppily. polish doesn't cover the whole nail and the shape is almost square when the rest of my manicure is coffin. nail is also very thick for some reason. horrible customer service I will not be returning. read more

So my girlfriend just went to get her nails redone at another spa in Normal. Her last visit to Castle Nail Spa resulted in crooked nails and fungus growing under the fill that she had done by some guy with tattoos. We are pretty sure that he used dirty tools and he has no clue what he is doing. We will never go back there! If I could rate it lower than 1 star, I would. It is absolutely filthy and outrageous that they can do business like that. read more

Worst nail salon I have ever been in...dirty, not many options for nail colors for no-chips, don't speak or understand English. Took my two nieces for their birthdays - both were disappointed. For mine, she CUT my nails below the skin - so you could see skin above my nails, cut my cuticles on two nails...bleeding, bump in one of the nails, the clear polish is all over my skin not the nails, UNEVEN nails...the worst!! I've had decent work done there before but after today I will not be returning. First I walked in to who I think is the owner being so rude to a customer about a coupon and I think she was right. I almost wanted to walk out just hearing him talk to her. Anyways I got a fill. Every one of my nails is uneven and a very weird shape... I wanted Square and these are like between a square and round shape I've never seen anything like it. And to top it all off the girl doing my nails cut open 6 of them... Almost every nail. She had to keep stopping because I was bleeding. And she acted confused ...Why are you confused ? You just cut me I keep saying ow. Also she would use her long nail to shove back my cuticles and they are sore. I have been getting my nails done for years never have I had this . I just hope my nails grow out enough before my wedding next month that someone can fix the shape. Don't go here . They are rude and they very much lack customer service. read more
