So...the hotel may be great, but the Freyta Street annex is to be avoided. Basically the hotel owner bought a third story walk-up apartment and sub-divided it into four room-sized sublets. Is it close to the hotel? Not really. Is there any assistance for, say, moving your bags between the hotel and Freyta Street? Nope. Is there an elevator in either location? Nope. Maid service? Nie.
It makes for a crappy and inconvenient hotel room.
If there is some saving grace, it would be that the room was awesome, or the price was reasonable, or that one got more than what one expected. None of this is the case. The "sofa bed" doesn't sleep two humans. More of a sofa chair for one [oh HELL NO - it isn't even a sofa chair - there is no mattress, it's just a bunch of cushions which unfold to a not entirely flat configuration - like a device built by someone too stupid to build a futon]. The lack of four - or even three - sleeping places can be awkward if you are four. And booked for four. And the hotel took the reservation for four.
The hotel staff was not even a little helpful with this. Just a young lady behind the counter giving guests a "sucks to be you" look. And if you book a room at the annex, it does. It does suck to be you. read more
