You really need to be early in and get served quick as by lunchtime the que is massive. A one pound sub and sitting on the pier catching the sun is an experience I can definitely recommend. Loads of £1 deals, its a real winner of an idea.

However they came out with the two oat milk lattes and three mini egg hotchoclates. Annoying as it wasnt what we had orded but we all make mistakes. They take the hot choclates back, and ask us what we ordered. We said the 3 mini egg sundaes. They said we didn't order 3 mini egg sundaes but we apparantely ordered 3 mini egg hot choclates. So they had the audacity to blame us for THEIR mistake. I have very little oppose to mistakes. If you make one its whatever. But knowing fully that the customer (us) didnt make that mistake and they did, and not taking any accountability, that isnt okay. They made us pay full price which I suppose is fair, but still. Plus the image of the mini egg sundae looks nothing like the actual image. Its like buying a dog, its amazing, you cant wait and once its home its crapped on the floor and you wonder why the hell did I spend so much on this. None the less the food was good and we at least got our meals. I dont know if Id be rushing to come back soon anytime in the near future. My ONLY suggestion. Take accountability for your mistakes. Its natural to make mistakes as humans. So just accountability and this place is good to go.

I had a lamb and potato pie, which was great, and also the Mediterranean vegetable and goat cheese, which was at least as good. Although I am a meat-lover when it comes to pies I appreciate the veggie options so I'd add one more such pie to the menu (perhaps something in the squash or pumpkin direction? or sweet potatoes?), but I am not British, so perhaps they know their audience better ;) Oh, don't miss the Banoffee pie with ice cream for dessert! Our dog was very welcome, which is another bonus point - dog friendly and generally friendly place.

It's a simple concept, everything on sale either costs a pound, or is two for a pound etc (should really be 98p following the VAT cut but 98pland doesn't have the same ring to it). There's a bit of everything from batteries to toiletries and stationary to food. Mostly it's reasonable quality and you'll find a few well known brands mixed in. Worth a look if you're passing, you'll more than likely find something you need and it won't cost the earth.

On occasions the staff in Poundland Llandudno aren't too friendly or responsive to Hello at times as well, which to a customer is a bit off-putting and insulting. They tend to treat you like cattle passing through a disinfectant dip. I have to disagree that Poundworld in Colwyn Bay sells a lot of junk ~ I've been there on occasions and there are a lot of good bargains, though again some more expensive than the stores mentioned above, and as it sells similar items to Poundland Llandudno the"junk" comment reflects on both stores unfairly. At £1, no-one expects the same quality as £10 £15 but most items will suffice very well in the short term. It comes down to common sense and most shoppers have a good amount of that these days!

Although it was obviously part of the…read morePoundstretcher group from the product range unlike the Poundstretcher shops I'd been in (Llandudno, Rhyl and Caernarfon spring to mind) this store isn't long, narrow and difficult to move about in. Admittedly though they have always tried to recreate an authentic Poundstretcher experience by piling stock in any aisle that may be wide enough to negotiate. Stock wise there's a wide range from food to homeware to toys. They also have lots of seasonal stuff so lots of gardening items in the summer and Christmas items in the winter. It's all fairly cheap and cheerful. They possibly suffer a lit bit from being next door to the superior Home Bargains but it's worth a look if you're passing.

Aldi in Llandudno is located on a corner of the Mostyn Champneys Retail Park next to Argos. It's a…read morewell known discount supermarket and once upon a time I used to do my shopping there. I don't go there too much these days as didn't think the quality was always as good as it could be, especially the fresh fruit and vegetables which always seemed to go off a bit too quickly. I'm also not convinced it's all that cheap, at least not for what I buy. It's worth the odd look now and again though as they seem to get completely random items of non-food stock so you never know what you'll find.
