I'm always greeted with smiles by each staff member and my daughter adores her teacher. My daughter is in second grade and attends their after school program. Theirs is the first after school program where I feel I actually get my money's worth. At another center in town that my daughter previously attended, it was always complete chaos when I picked her up. No sign of engagement between the staff and the students and no structure. At Goddard, her teacher (Ms. Katie) shows a genuine interest in the kids and they ensure that homework and reading assignments (from school) are completed before moving onto the fun activities they plan for the kids. THATS RIGHT! They actually plan fun art and science activities and let the kids have a say in what activities they plan. The smaller kids also look very happy and it is clear that they are well cared for by the more than capable staff. We also get a daily email report of what activities she did and adorable pics to document her day. We look forward to picking her up and talking to Alpa ( the center director) and the rest of the staff.

If you are an African American parent considering this school, please read this carefully…read more By the time we pulled our 2yr old out of this school, it became painfully clear that the environment was deeply prejudiced and borderline racist. She started in April 2025 after thriving at her previous Primrose location, where she was confident, happy, and excelling. Within two months at Lantana, her teachers completed an ASQ assessment and rated her as not meeting expectations in nearly every category. Let that sink in. Our daughter, who is bright, energetic, and constantly praised for her intelligence by everyone who meets her, including her pediatrician, was suddenly portrayed as behind across the board. Just before leaving Old Orchard, she had an ASQ completed there and was thriving in every category. When I questioned leadership about these shocking results, I was met with gaslighting. I was told the assessment was different. I was asked to complete one myself. I was made to feel like I did not understand my own child. Her former school was equally shocked. Around October and November, the narrative shifted. We began receiving complaints that our daughter was not listening, did not want to come inside from the playground, and had put her hands on other children. Typical two-year-old behavior. We acknowledged that like many toddlers in the "mine" stage, she sometimes reacts when a toy is taken from her, and we assured the school we were actively working on that at home. Instead of working with us, they escalated it. They began sending behavioral reports home and recommending speech therapy and play therapy for a child who speaks clearly and in full sentences. Two years old and speaking in full sentences. Yet teachers, some of whom are not even certified, felt comfortable suggesting therapy as if something were wrong with her. They started using loaded words like "tackled" and "going after the teacher" to describe a two-year-old little girl. I am still trying to understand what exactly a toddler is capable of doing to a grown adult in a classroom that is supposed to have at least two teachers present at all times. Yet we were told no other child or staff member did anything and that our daughter simply decided to kick and hit other kids unprovoked. That does not align with reality. Our daughter has playdates. She spends weekends with her cousins. We have never witnessed anything close to what they described. I have voicemails from leadership, including the owner Erin Lundie, using carefully chosen language that clearly attempts to label our daughter as aggressive and violent. At one point, I became so disturbed by the sudden change in her behavior that I genuinely started to question whether something inappropriate was happening at school. This is a child who used to love school so much we sometimes had to force her to leave at pickup. Suddenly, she was having meltdowns at morning drop-offs. Another major red flag was a call from their HR Director, Shannon Tilton, about our daughter not wanting to nap. I explained that she is at a stage where naps are inconsistent and she would prefer a quiet activity. I was told verbatim, "We do not force them to sleep, but according to Texas law they are required to stay on their cot for the duration of nap time." That is completely false. Texas regulations require that children who do not sleep be offered quiet activities. So not only were they mishandling our child, but they were also misrepresenting state regulations to justify it. I could go on, but the bottom line is this: the leadership team and teachers either failed to properly do their jobs or were actively shaping a negative narrative about our daughter. We were paying over $1,600 a month, they were not doing us a favor. Since removing her, she is now attending a new daycare, and she is thriving once again with only positive remarks from her teachers so far. Zero issues. No behavioral labels. No therapy recommendations. No exaggerated reports. Just a happy, intelligent child in a supportive environment. That tells us everything.

Our son is absolutely thriving in the Toddler classroom, and his Guides are nothing short of incredible. After a difficult experience with a previous daycare, I was understandably anxious about making another change. But this transition has exceeded all expectations. The care, structure, and genuine love the staff shows every day have made such a difference, not only for our son, but for our whole family. If I could give 100 stars, I would. This is hands down the best school around, and I'm so excited to watch our son continue to grow and thrive here. We are so thankful to be part of the Wonderland community!

We have experienced nothing but love from all caregivers, including Kim and the substitutes. The passion for early development is alive and well at this school. They care about who each child is and do everything they can to meet them where they are on a daily basis. The peace of mind we have every day when we drop our child off is invaluable. If you want your child to grow up exposed to diversity, independence, responsibility and community, these people have done just that for us so far! They are professionals in a field I believe is severely undervalued.

My son was enrolled in Guidepost Flower Mound's Spanish Immersion program for 18 months, and we rarely went more than a month without a major change or staff turnover. We stayed as long as we did because the Guides caring for our son were excellent, but they have all since left the school. Over time, it became apparent that there were significant issues behind the scenes. The atmosphere among staff often felt tense, and the administration was not transparent with families about changes affecting the school. Important decisions were typically communicated only after they had already been made. We ultimately decided to withdraw when the school announced the closure of the Spanish Immersion program. The announcement was sent to parents on a Friday evening and gave just two weeks' notice that children would be separated into existing classes. It offered only vague suggestions about future Spanish language instruction. There was no attempt to consult with parents beforehand, despite administrators stating the program had been under review for months. Attempts to seek clarification afterward were met with vague responses rather than clear answers. The final disappointment has been the handling of our deposit. In March, both the Head of School and administrators at TNC Schools confirmed in writing that our deposit would be returned. Several months later, we are still waiting. There has been no communication since March and no explanation for the delay. It is difficult to understand why a commitment made clearly and explicitly in writing has not been honored. Having toured many Montessori schools in the area, my impression is that Guidepost is priced as a premium option for local families. While every family must decide for themselves whether that cost is justified, our experience of constant staff turnover, program instability, poor communication, lack of transparency, and the school's failure to follow through on its written commitment to return our deposit did not reflect the level of professionalism and stability we expected. For those reasons, I cannot recommend the school to other families.

As parents, we did not feel the concerns were handled with the seriousness or urgency they deserved. Following our withdrawal, Guidepost Montessori confirmed in writing that we were owed a refund totaling $2,156, including deposits and an overpayment. We were told a refund check had been requested. Unfortunately, nearly four months passed without receiving any refund, despite repeated follow-ups. We contacted school administration, regional management, and were later informed that refunds were being handled by a new entity after a change in ownership. Even after being redirected and providing all documentation again, we received no payment and no response for an extended period of time. The lack of accountability, communication, and professionalism--especially after concerns related to our child's well-being--has been extremely disappointing and stressful for our family. A school that promotes trust, care, and Montessori values should demonstrate the same responsibility in how it treats families, both emotionally and financially. I strongly encourage prospective families to ask very detailed questions about administration stability, classroom oversight, and refund policies before enrolling.

Every day when I drop off my 6, 3 and 1.5 yr old kids I know they are in the best possible care without being next to me. As with any relationship it takes both parents and staff to communicate and that is the area where this school excels. From their tadpole application with photos shared through out the day, weekly planning activities and menus sent out, quick response to emails, and of course manning the phone lines - This is just the front desk. The teachers are on a whole other level! I know each of my kids are getting the attention they need by being notified at pickup of eating habits, seeing them on the floor with the kids during playtime and the weekly bags of art work that are sent home.
