This is a fine independent bookshop situated just off the main square in Ludlow, and just across the road from the castle. There is on-street parking nearby, but you may need to resort to (and wait for) a space in Ludlow's small town carpark.
Whilst not the biggest bookshop in the world, this shop stocks a good range of local work, including some items from small, independent publishers. There is also a selection of non-fiction with a focus on farming and country pursuits, plus a wide selection of detailed maps for walkers. The fiction section includes some surprises, as well as the more expected stock.
The rear of the store stocks art materials and stationery, plus cards and wrapping.
The knowledgeable staff are always helpful, and you are sure to emerge with a little gem from their carefully-chosen stock. read more
