We were blown away!! The hospitality of the entire staff was unparalleled. Of course it is a castle on top of a hill so are some stairs and at times steep incline to navigate however there are multiple elevators and a golf carts on the property to accommodate. We got the about mid- day and they were able to whip up a delicious assortment of aperitif and we enjoyed every last bite. We even bought two bottles of the local wine they served us! We decided to stay here because the price was great and we got to add staying in a castle on our travel checklist. We opted to stay here as we had plans to dine at Pepe in Grani. With that being said, We cannot say enough about the staff and how amazing they were. They were able to arrange transfers for us late at night, checked in on us during our stay and even told us to treat the castle as if it was our own home. Phenomenal service. We have heard wonderful things about Christmas time at the castle and we are looking forward to coming back. The location is BEAUTIFUL - however you need a transfer or car to arrive at the property. The room was so wonderful. They have two options modern rooms on the outside walls of the castle and traditional rooms physically in the castle. We stayed in the traditional room and it was great. Modern furniture, firm mattress, all the amenities in the bathroom , stocked mini fridge, safe, TV & AC. Shower was small but not an issue. We were very comfortable. Super clean. read more
